I know I've seen Riley somewhere before and that's weird for me because I never forget a face.
I searched all over the Internet for her when I got back home from my date with Michelle. I wasn't really a date actually, I spent most of the time talking to her father about his business.
I didn't manage to find anything so I guess I'll just have to find out in person.
I arrive at the studio pretty early and wait at the juice bar. I start heading towards Riley but Eldon stops me to start a conversation.
"Hey, what's up man?" I greet
"Hey James, the boys are meeting up for lunch today at Beachside, wanna come?"
Beachside was one of the few restaurants we had in town. They served the best seafood and sandwiches by the sea.
I nod, "Yeah sure, sounds great,"
I start walking towards Riley again but a thought comes to me and I backtrack back to Eldon.
"Is it okay if I bring someone along?"
Eldon turns to West, another new member of the Next Step. He's an awesome hip-hop dancing and a really funny guy, "Is that fine with you?"
West nods, "Yes, of course. The more the merrier!"
I laugh and then make my way to Riley to tell the good news.
"Hey!" I smile and take a seat beside her.
She smiles back and places her magazine down, "Hey, James. How are you?"
"I'm great, actually. Are you free for lunch today?" I ask. She hesitates slightly before nodding, "Did you want to come to Beachside for lunch. The boys are coming but they said it's fine if I can bring you as well. It will be a great way for you to meet the team,"
Riley looks over my shoulder to were Michelle is sitting, "Would Michelle mind, I mean... I don't really want to get caught up with..."
"Oh no, it's fine. Actually, Michelle was invited but she told me she was busy so that's why I'm asking you," I'm lying to Riley but I hope that Michelle will understand.
"Oh then sure! I'd love to come," She replies with a smile. Her smile causes me to smile as well and I relax a bit in my chair.
Rehearsals finish at eleven today on the weekend which gives us plenty of time get changed and catch the bus by about half-past.
Miss Kate appears at the door to Studio A and I realise that nearly everyone has arrived.
Miss Kate opens the doors and ushers everyone inside, "Okay, let's start dancing!"
