I finish my second sandwich and I watch as Riley finishes her first one.

The boys have been talking for a long time about this video game that just came out a week ago.

I'm not much of a gamer myself and I roll my eyes, placing my head on the table in frustration.

Riley laughs and wipes her mouth with a napkin. I laugh as well and straighten up.

"I think I've seen you before," I say suddenly

She narrows her eyes and looks at my face, "I don't think I've seen you before. Where have you seen me?"

I shake my head, "I'm not sure, it's just that you look familiar,"

Riley nods thoughtfully, "Maybe I'm a celebrity look-a-like?"

A thought comes to me, "Have you danced at a competition before?"

She nods, "I've been only to minor ones though,"

"Wait, hold up,"

I search my memories for a clue. Then it hits me, last year I was at a minor dance competition and a girl was preforming a solo on stage. It was captivating actually. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the performance.

She looks just like Riley.

Riley looks at me expectingly, "Found it?" She asks

I hesitate, I could tell her now but by the way she dances, I know a lot of people tell her she is amazing.

"Nope," I reply, "My memory is really bad,"

"So how long have you been dancing?" She asks

"Since I was four, how about you?"

Riley looks down at the napkin in her hands, "I've been dancing for awhile now,"

A waiter comes and clears up the tables. West shouts loudly about a high score and Eldon shouts back. Everyone in the restaurant looks at us and I smile sheepishly at them.

I turn to Eldon and harshly whisper in his ear, "Shut up, man,"

He stops and looks around, his face turns to one of embarrassment, "Sorry," Eldon tells the people in the restaurant and heads out with Noah and West.

Once the door closes behind them, Riley and I start laughing our heads off. Eldon has been my best friend since I was a little kid and he still is just as mature as he was then.

"Your friends are idiots, "She smiles

"Tell me about it," I chuckle, "Did you want a tour of the town?" I ask

She nods and we get out of Beachside, I offer out my hand but she stares at it awkwardly. That's right, I have Michelle.

I rub my neck, "Sorry, I-"

"It's fine," She answers

I don't want things to be awkward with Riley so I tell her a joke about one time when the bus driver thought a fly was in the bus and started whacking the windscreen, only to find out that the fly was on the outside.

I walk Riley to the beach and sit on the bench, waiting for the bus to arrive again.
