Chap twenty nine:You saved me

"Ri An."

Was all I said as I hurried to the girl's toilet and opened the door to find Ri An leaning against the wash sink and for the first time, I could see a hint of fear on her face.

She was surrounded by reporters and fans which seemed more like antis. I caved a path between all these people and reached to Ri An as I blocked her away from them.

"I'll handle this." She said behind my back.

"No you won't. For once, let me handle these people because I know what can happen. But why are all these people here and how did they even enter?"

"I don't know. I just came out and then they surrounded me like this.I can't even understand what is happening."

"Miss Ri An, do you have an explanation for this?"

"Are you a regular or only during hard times?"

"Yes tell us!"

Questions were bombarbed from everywhere.

The shouts of anti fans attracted everyone from the ceremony and they quickly arrived.

Our members and managers also came to shield Ri An from the immense crowd but the curses grew only louder.

Everyone was confused at what was happening. Even the security was called but the reporters and the fans were too strong.

"Do you really take drugs Miss Ri An?"

"What?" Everybody was clearly shocked at this reporter's question.

"Are the drugs found in your bag really yours?"

"What other secrets have you hidden from us, manager Kang?"

"What are you talking about?" Manager Shinji asked.

"So you really didn't know or are you faking it?"

"Did you know the fact that Ri An was carrying drugs in her bag today and now?"

"What the- Impossible!"

"See it for yourself."

He removed the pack of drugs from my bag and everyone's eyes widened in horror.

"No it's a lie. Someone is trying to frame me." I shouted but blocked by more cries from fans.

Yirin snatched my bag from them and looked inside with a trace of confusion and disgust on his face.

"Yirin wait!" He sped off suddenly to the outside taking my bag with him.

Yirin's POV:

I knew it. Surely, who would do such an obdious act?

"Yah!" I grabbed Do Hwi's hand and she cried,trying to leave from my grasp.

"You little pig. Why did you do it?"

"What did I do?"

"I know it's you. Stop pretending."

"I wanted to show what happens messes with me and most of all, I wanted you again, Yirin." She looked at me with crying eyes.

"Bitch please. I think it's high time to give you a good lesson." I dragged her to the crowd and brought her next to Ri An who stared at me,confused.

"It's Do Hwi who did it. She put the drugs in Ri An's bag to frame her."

"No it's not true. I am myself a poor victim of this. They all want to trap me in this, I swear."

"Poor victim you say?" Ri An was now advancing towards Do Hwi.

"We warned you but you still couldn't understand. Let me think...did you not think of trying to take revenge on me? Really on me?"

Do Hwi's 'great' confidence was now replaced with some fear when Ri An approached her.

"I told you all it's not me!"

"This isn't for you? It was in Ri An's bag." I showed her two identical silver plated rings with one part of a heart on one ring and the other part on the second ring. Do Hwi had dropped them in Ri An's bag.

"Those rings...."

"Are yours right? You still have those?"

"You saw Yirin, you saw now how much I loved you and I still cherish our memories together, I haven't forgotten anything about our relationship even if we broke up but don't worry, it can happen again, we can become one again."

"Your dream." I put the two rings in her hand and closed it into a fist.

"You trust me right, you all people, you trust me. I am Do Hwi, I can't do anything wrong." She started blabbering but everyone look unconvinced.

"You don't trust me huh? Right? I will sue you all and Yirin, you're first!" The mad bitch came at me but Ri An grabbed her just in time.

"Security. Take her away."

"No Ri An. You-"

"I will make sure I don't see you again, Astala Vista!"

She continued growling while the security officers took her away from everyone's sight.

"I'm sorry Miss Ri An, she called us here and lied to us that you were involved in drugs. We'll cut out all the videos and pretend it never happened." One of the reporters told me.

"No put it. The world should be aware about Do Hwi. I'll get more popularity anyways, I hope you do a good job." Ri An patted the reporter's shoulder and left the place.

"Thank you." I called to her from my room. We had returned to the dorm and everyone was relieved of Do Hwi gone.

Now that everyone knew her true side, they decided to transfer her to another company. She could have been a danger to us.

"Indeed you must thank me. I saved you from her."

"Indeed you must...." I imitated her and snapped "Arrogant".

"I think I must thank you instead. If you weren't here, they wouldn't have found out about the rings."

"Aww Is Ri An being sweet to me right now?" I coughed.

"Admit it, I knew you were jealous of her."

"What? N- N- ooo" She stuttered.

"I knew it."

"Shut up. I'm being nice to you and you're teasing me. And why would I be jealous?"

"Don't hide it babe, your heart is so loud now, don't you hear the voice of love?" I said dramatically

"Voice of love? Where do you get those things?" Ri An mocked me.

"From Yirin's dictionary." I put my chin up.

"And where did you buy such a nonsense dictionary?"

"Do you always have to belittle me?" I said pouting, my pride gone.

"Don't you agree that I always win?"

"No." I refused.

"Yes It seems so."

"It doesn't seem so."

"I think yes as I always win our arguments."

"I think I've got a short term memory loss as I don't remember anything of this sort."

"I always win."

"No."

"Yes."

That continued and continued till we hadn't any energy to protest anymore but like that too, we argued who would give up first. In the end, we both fell asleep and no one knew who won or gave up first.
