Epilogue: Decision

"Woooo Diamond is here!"

Fans screamed as our van came in sight.

Today was the shooting of a new variety show and Diamond was the honored guests.

"Yirin oppa I love youuu."

"Shh Ri An will hear you."

"Yirin just stop it. It's been four years already and you have not changed at all. And also, I am clearly not interested in you, the kiss was just a fucking mistake, you don't have to get the wrong ideas." I told Yirin.

"Fuck you." I nudged him in the arm and he had to hide his pain while waving happily to the girls.

There was another special guest today and it was Pink Bells, the first girl group of SG entertainment.

"Four years already and so popular! Great job Diamond. Being the first group of an entertainment and rising so powerfully is really a great feat." The mc congratulated us.

"Oh thank you, of course we wouldn't be able do it without our teamwork and the beautiful fans out there." Yirin said which earned a lot of screams from the crowd.

It finished quite fast and we were getting some free time to talk to fans. Just then, I noticed something.

Diamond's variety show today. Yass Ching wrecked all and Hihi created a catastrophe with the milk_

The boy lifted his head upwards and I removed my mask covering part of my face.

"Woah so beautiful" He said.

"I'll delete it right now." He was going to press on the delete button but I stopped him.

"Don't. Keep it."

He looked quite shocked at my response. He thought I've have handed him over to the police now as he was a anti fan.

"You can leave it. I'll sue you anyway." I said to him as I patted his shoulder and walked off.

"That's how you should deal with haters." I muttered to myself.

As everyone returned to the dorm, I was called to Manager Kang's office.

"Please sit down Ri An, we have some important things to discuss."

"Ok."

"First of all, I wanted to talk about your American debut. Look, I know you refused previously but I am telling this for your best and for the best of Diamond."

I nodded.

"I want you to consider this once more. I know you don't want to leave the the team even for only thirty months but this will help you and Diamond to become more internationally famous. This is a great opportunity. "

"But Manager, I-"

"There will no comebacks in those thirty months' lapse time but when you'll come back, Diamond will have a big comeback. I know it's hard but you can prove your talent to the whole world and we can't waste someone's potential like this. I hope that you will accept this."

"Sir I need to talk to the guys first."

"As you wish then."

"Yah Ri An." Yirin put his hand on my forehead to prevent me from colliding with the door.

"Huh?"

"What happened now? I can see that you are stressed."

"Hmm its nothing at all. I'm just fine."

"You don't know how to lie."

"Huh- whatever."

Just as I was about to get inside, yirin's words stopped me abruptly.

"I know it's because of your american debut."

"What-"

"Just go."

I looked at him, confused.

"Yeah just go and fulfil that dream." The other guys came in view.

"But how did y-"

"We knew that for long, and were going to stop you but we won't. You are leaving in one week, we can still do everything together in those seven days but this opportunity won't come back again, just go and prepare for your american debut."

"We are telling you we'll all be fine. Don't worry about us." Hihi said .

"Right." 3k added.

"But I don't want to."

"It doesn't matter on your want or ours but on one of your biggest dreams." Yirin said.

"Just go Ri An. Go Ri An." They all cheered.

"Oh my god guys."

"Yah you aren't going to cry right now, are you?" Ching said.

"Of course not though I feel like I would."

"Aww." Hyuyu pinched my cheeks.

"Don't ever do this again." I eyed them.

"Ah My sweet Ri An." He gave me a bone crushing hug.

"And this too."

I can't believe I'm already going. It was the day of my flight and I was still unsure of my decision.

The boys kept on insisting that I go and they finally realised their wish.

I was at the dorm's door, looking around with my suitcase as I had done when I came here and now I would be leaving and not be returning for quite a long time.

The boys didn't want to drop me at the airport, they were claiming to be too lazy when I clearly knew that after I was gone, some of them would crack up in tears, so I wished them goodbye from the dorm itself.

I was already at the airport, passport in one hand and about  to check in at the counter. I turned back to look at my three managers and they did a thumbs'up

One step.

Two steps.

Three steps.

It was hard, to even move. Many things were circulating in my head...

"Should I go?"

"Should I step forward?

"Of course the boys told me they would be ok."

"But will I be ok?"

"It is already too late, I can't back off."

"No I can."

"No you can do this Ri An. Step forward."

I reached the counter, then as the lady there saw my name, she jumped back.

"Can you please not make it obvious that I am Ri An?" I held my mask down to talk to her.

"Omg- Umm yes Madam."

"Your suitcase madam?"

"Do you think it's already too late?" I suddenly blurted out without even trying to think what was I saying. I just had to make the right choice.

"Hmm no I believe that nothing can stop you. You can never be too late except for school and-"

"Thank you." I said and she looked at me, confused.

"I'll make sure to thank you properly later but for now..."
