In Another Life

My eighth poem. My third english poem.

Si Budoy nakaisip ng title. Haha! Joke! Peace tayo. :))

Nahirapan akong gawin kasi english. Charot! Haha! Hindi kasi masyadong bitter kaya nahirapan ako. Mas bet ko kasi yung bonggang bitterness o sad/tragic endings. Haha! Pero parang may pagka-bitter pa din ito pero konti lang.

Last year pa dapat to, mga October yata, tapos ngayong February ko lang natapos. Hahaha. Sorry natagalan! (-/\-)

In Another Life

In another life, would we still meet each other?

In another life, would we be together?

In another life, would we have our happily ever after?

In another life, would we stay forever?

I wanna be with you now.

I wanna hear your voice, but how?

All I can do is reminisce the time,

The time we used to call each other "Mine".

I can never forget,

The day we met.

That memorable day,

That took my breath away.

We met each other in an unusual place.

Closeness grew and heartbeats raced.

We were two worlds apart,

Yet, you managed to open the door to my heart.

But destiny has it's own plan.

He won't let you be my man.

Now I'm the only one,

'Cause in a blink of an eye, you're gone.

There's so many things I wanna say,

But words aren't enough for you to stay,

So I just kneel down and pray,

Hoping we'll be together someday.

Someday, side by side, you and me,

Like Mr. Bean to Teddy,

Like Shrek to Donkey,

Like Honey and Bee.

Someday, would you run away with me?

See the world and grab a cup of tea,

Build a sand castle beside the sea,

And eat fishballs under the tree.

Dreams do come true,

I know we'll get through.

We just have to believe in love,

And we could fly like a dove.

I'll never lose hope,

I'll never let go of the rope.

I know love will find a way,

For us to be together someday.

You made me believe, true love exist.

So, happily ever after, I'll insist.

In this time, maybe we're not meant to be.

But I wish, in another life we could spend eternity.
