"Eleanor, I can't believe that you talked me into buying all of this."

She and I just got done shopping. My parents were going to kill me. I spent way too much money today. Eleanor was a skilled shopper.

"It's gonna all be worth it. You are gonna have to let me borrow those fan boots you got." She smiled.

"I'll think about it." I joked. I was going to follow her to Louis' flat. I was nervous. Very nervous. Eleanor kept reassuring me that I wouldn't see Harry or Zayn, but I was still freaked out that I might.

If I didn't see them for the rest of my life I would be happy.

When we arrived at Louis' flat, Eleankr opened the door and we went inside. Louis was there with Niall.

"(Y/n)!" Niall exclaimed when he saw me. He jumped up and gave me a hug.

"We've missed you." Louis intruded on the hug. It was getting awkward and I couldn't breathe.

"It's only been a few days." I told them.

They let me go and we all went into the living room.

"Are you okay?" Niall asked me.

I nodded, "Thanks for coming over the other day. It was very thoughtful."

He smiled, "That's what friends are for."

Eleanor brought us some tea, "(y/n) has some good news."

Niall and Louis turned to me I wondered how they would take my decision to go to NYU.

I took a deep breath, "I'm going to NYU."

They just stared at me.

"What? I thought you would've stayed here." Louis said.

"I got a full scholarship. It would be dumb not to go." I told them as I looked down at my hands.

"It seems dumb that you are running away." Niall blurted out.

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Excuse me?"

"It's what we are all probably thinking. After what happened, you probably can't wait to leave here." Niall argued.

I couldn't believe this was happening. I thought he was my friend.

"I'm not running!" Even when the words came out of my mouth, it didn't even convince me.

Niall scoffed, "That's a bunch of bull and you know it."

I felt betrayed all over again. I grabbed my purse and left the flat. Everything was falling down on my shoulders. I wished I never moved to London.

I went to the elevators and pressed the down button. I couldn't help but she'd a few tears as Niall's words stuck in my head. Maybe I was running, but it's something that I wanted to do.

The doors to the elevators opened and Harry stood there.

I couldn't move.

He stood there in shock too.

"(Y/n)." He whispered.

I wiped away my tears and turned to walk away.

"(Y/n) wait!" Harry called after me. I went to the stairs but before I could open the door, I felt Harry's hand grab my arm.

"Let go of me." I told him.

He didn't listen, "We need to talk, (Y/n.)

"I told you I have nothing to say to you." I said without looking at him.

"I'm so sorry about what happened. I didn't mean for it to be like this." His voice sounded like he was going to start crying.

"But it did." I stated. I didn't want to be having this conversation right now.

"I care about you, (y/n). And I--"

"No you didn't! It was all a lie!" I yelled. I finally looked at him and I could tell that he was shocked at the tone in my voice.

I was able to get a look at him. To really look at him. He looked a mess. Bags were under his eyes, his clothes were wrinkled and his hair looked untidy. He looked like I felt.

I'm sure I wasn't picture perfect either.

"It wasn't a lie! At first it was a bet to see who could go out with you, but then I really started catching feelings for you." He retorted.

I laughed, "Oh how convienient! You decided to play with my feelings and then you magically develop some for me too. That's bullshit." I tried to push past him but he wouldn't let me.

"Stop trying to run from me." He told me.

"I'm not running! Just because I'm trying to leave you and leave to New York doesn't mean I'm running!" I blurted.

Oh crud.

"You're... You're leaving?" He mumbled.

"I'm going to NYU in January." I said.

"You can't go." Harry said.

"I have to." I whispered before I moved away from him. He didn't follow me as I walked to the elevators.

"You can't go, (y/n)." Harry repeated.

I turned around as the doors opened, "and why shouldn't i?"

He took a deep breath, "Because I love you."
