Chapter 26:
It was time. The last month and a half has passed by so quickly. Too quickly. Now, as I packed my last bag, I thought about how my life has changed since I moved here.
I loved Harry. Meeting him was one of the best things to ever happened to me. If I never met him, I would always feel like something would've been missing in my life.
Harry meant more to me than anything. I truly cared about him with every fiber in my being.
While I was packing the last of my things, my phone started ringing. I smiled when I saw Harry was calling.
"Hello." I answered.
"Hey, love. What are you up to?" He asked me.
"I'm just finished packing. What about you?"
"I'm at a photoshoot with the guys. We are almost finished, I just wanted to hear your voice." He told me.
I smiled, "That's sweet babe."
"I know I am," I heard him laugh, "Do you think it would be okay if I snuck over tonight? I wanted us to spend your last night here together."
"Yeah, what time do you plan on coming over?" I asked him.
"Probably around ten." Harry told me.
"Okay, I'll see you then." I said.
"I can't wait."
Later that night, I was laying on my bed reading, Divergent, when I heard something hit my window. I got up and walked over to my balcony. I opened the door and saw Harry. He had a dozen roses in his hands.
"These are for you my lady." He told me as he handed them to me.
I smelled them, "These are so beautiful."
"Just like you." He kissed my forehead and then I let him in. I closed the balcony doors and he pulled me into his arms.
"I can't believe you are already leaving tomorrow." He mumbled. I felt his lips against my hair.
"I know." I replied. We found out that it would be about four months until the guys had to be in New York City for some random promotion. We could handle four months.
"The other guys are gonna miss you too." Harry said as we sat down on my floor.
"I'm sad I won't see them tomorrow." It would be a trainwreck if all five of the guys would be at the airport with me. They would get swarmed instantly.
"Trust me, Niall and Louis are already planning on texting you every day." Harry laughed.
"I'll be expecting that then." I smiled.
He brushed some hair out of my face, "You'll get a million calls from me a day."
"Just a million?" I joked.
He smiled and looked down at our hands entwined. He played with the ring that he gave me, "I'm really going to miss you."
I ran my fingers through his curly locks, "I am too."
We spent most of the night talking. He made me laugh as he told me more stories about his childhood. I did the same and I showed him some pictures.
It was around two when I started getting sleepy. My flight was at noon, and I was pretty sure that I would sleep during the flight. I wanted to spend as much time with Harry that I could.
"Are you ready to go to sleep?" Harry asked me.
I shook my head, "I want to stay up with you."
He chuckled, "Don't be stubborn. I'm not going anywhere."
"Okay, then." I said before another yawn escaped. Harry pulled back my sheets before he took his shoes off. I layed down and he did too. Immediately his arms wrapped around my body.
"Will you sing to me?" I asked him.
He smiled, "Anything for you, (y/n).
I never understood what love was really like
But I felt it for the first time looking in your eyes."
I felt warmth. I opened my eyes and he was right there next to me. I checked the clock and it was nearly nine. I had to leave by ten thirty.
I got out of bed and grabbed my clothes in order to take a shower.
Once I was done, I went back into my room. Harry was awake.
"I was scared you left without saying goodbye." He chuckled but I knew he was serious.
"Of course I wouldn't leave without saying goodbye." I smiled as he pulled me onto his lap. He pressed his lips against my cheek softly, "I would've ran to the airport and chased you."
"I bet you would've."
It was almost time for me to go and Harry was loading the last of my bags into his trunk. My parents agreed to let him drive me to the airport.
I turned to my mom and dad, "I'm going to miss you guys."
"Be safe. Call us as soon as you land okay?" My mom told me.
I nodded as she gave me a hug. I gave my dad a hug, "We look forward to our check in calls every night."
I laughed, "Of course, dad."
I told them goodbye one more time as I got into Harry's car. I took one last look at them as we drove off.
Thirty minutes later, Harry and I arrived at the airport. He held me with my luggage and took my hand in his as we walked in.
He wasn't able to go past security with me, so when we got near it I knew it was time to say goodbye.
I turned to face him, he looked sad.
"This isn't a goodbye. Just a see you later." I told him as I placed my hands on his shoulders.
"I know. I just wish I didn't have to wait four months until I saw you, (y/n)." Harry said.
He leaned his forehead against mine and I looked into his beautiful eyes.
"I love you." I whispered as I felt my eyes water.
"I love you." He closed his eyes as he said those three words. I knew it was so I wouldn't see him cry.
He pressed his lips against mine and I felt those butterflies in my stomach. Harry pulled me closer and I didn't care about the people around.
When we broke apart, I wanted more.
Harry chuckled, "Just imagine what it will be like when we see each other for the first time."
I couldn't help but laugh, "it'll be amazing."
"See you soon." Harry told me as he kissed me again.
I smiled, "See you soon." I walked to security and took one last look at him. He was still in the same spot. He waved at me and I blew him a kiss. Then I was off to start another chapter in my life.
THE END!
(I'm going to post the first chapter of the sequel, Lucidity in a bit!)
