Song: Electric love by-Borns
Asher's p.o.v
11:00amI slowly woke up to a plain white ceiling wondering how I got here and where even here was. I look around and that's when I noticed I was in the hospital. I slowly try and get up but that's when I feel a very sharp pain in my stomach and shoulder and that's when I remember what happened to me.
I quickly scramble to get up and grab my clothes from the chair beside my bed, ignoring the pain. I slowly pull on my shirt and pants and go to grab my leather jacket . That's when I hear the door to my hospital room opening. I quickly scramble to find my gun, but it's nowhere to be found. I look around to find a hiding spot but there's none so I run over to the door and hide behind it just in time to see the most beautiful girl I have witnessed, walking into the room.
She walks into the room looking for me and that's when I close the door all the way. It shuts with a click and she whips her head around to look at me and I see her eyes widen. She looks scared but she soon covers it up. For some reason, I don't like it when she looks at me with fear in her eyes but I quickly shake the feeling away. I slowly walk up to her and I see her start to walk backwards until she hit the chair and starts to trip but before she could, I grab her from around the waist and catch her.
She looks at me in the eyes and she manages to stutter out a thank you and tries to push me away. I don't want to let her go just yet but I don't want her to look at me like I'm some creep. "You should be resting...." she says calmly but I can see a hint of fear in her words. "Are you my doctor?" I ask smoothly. She frantically shakes her head yes which I found absolutely adorable. Wait....when do I find things adorable?
She slowly makes her way towards me and gently grabs my hand.
"W-what are you doing??" I say trying, to yank my hand away from her, but failing. She's strong. She looks back at me and smiles. "I wasn't kidding when I said you should rest, I don't want to stitch you up again, now do I?" she she says without the fear in her eyes. I guess she knows I won't hurt her. Why does her hand feel so good in my hand? Now I'm starting to sound soft. What's happening to me I never felt this way about a girl before....I lay down on the bed and that's when she starts talking. "My name's Winter and I just so happen to be your doctor." She starts off with taking, a little pause and then she starts talking again. "So ....you were shot two times; one in the chest and one in the shoulder-" but that's when I cut her off. "Sweet heart, it's not the first time that I've been shot, and it probably won't be the last either. When can I leave?" I ask.
"You can leave today if you really want to. But, you first need to sign some papers. Oh, and make sure to call your friends. They told me to tell you when you woke up." She reaches into her pocket and grabs a bag with my cell phone in it and tosses me it then walks out of the room.I scroll through my contacts until I come apon zanes name I quickly press the call button.
Asher: Hey
Zane: Asher? is that you?
Asher: Yes dumbass. Who else would call you from my phone?
Zane: Damn, you woke up on the wrong side of the hospital bed...
Asher: Just get your ass down here and come get me.
Zane: Fine on my wayGood god why does he have to be so difficult? I slowly get off the bed and that's when Winter walked back into the room holding a bottle of pain medication. "Here." she said, handing me the pain medication. I get out of bed and grab the pills from her and follow her out of the room into the croweded hall ways. She seems to navigate the halls with grace, while I just stand there, gawking at her. Before she can turn the corner I run after her and follow her to what I assume is the front desk.
She hands me papers and tells me where to sign, but before she can, in walks my friend who I have been bestfriends with for 11 years now. I grab the papers and start signing where she told me to rushing before Zane can make his way over to me.
"Hey how have they been treating you Ashe? Did you get any of those little pudding cups?" I look at him like he's crazy which he returns with a smile. I look up to find Winter trying to hold her laugh in. "Hey doc how's it going ? I hope he didn't give you any trouble..." Zane said with a smirk, looking at me.
"Hi Zane, and nope he was a angel." I start laughing and look at her. She has a huge smile on her face which I can't help but smile at her.I look over at Zane who looks shocked but covers it with a smile, that's when I hear Winter start to talk again. "So Asher, I think your all ready to leave now." she says, skimming through the papers. I just signed, still looking at her. She turns around and sets the papers in the filing cabinet them looks down at her watch. Her face morphs into a one of panic she whips her head up and says with rapid speed, "I have to go it was nice meeting you both!" and she sprints down the hall. Well that's really strange but I don't want to leave her just yet.
I turn around and follow Zane out of the hospital and that's when I see my bike. Oh, how I have missed her.... I scramble to get to her, leaving a laughing Zane behind me. when I finally make it, I look over my bike to make sure no damage has been done to it. I let out a sigh of relief when I find nothing and slowly get on, making sure not to cause anymore pain to my shoulder and stomach then there already in. I turn over the engine and hear that beautiful sound of my baby roaring to life then me and Zane pull out of the hospital parking lot and fly down the road heading back to the club house.
