It was a year after we left Narnia and I still felt weird in this world without my powers. I missed Narnia so much. I was standing next to Susan at a newspaper stand. I didn't really want to read the paper but I was hanging out with Susan and she was reading it so I just stood there, waiting. We were wearing our school uniforms. I had one just like Susan's and Lucy's on.

I was wearing my wedding ring on a chain around my neck. Peter's was also on my chain. I usually had it tucked under my shirt and if anyone ever saw it I told them the jewels were fake and they were my parents, who died, rings. Which was a complete and total lie except both my parents really are dead. A guy came and stood next to Susan on her other side. He was wearing the uniform

of the boy's school that Peter and Edmund go to just across the street. He just stood there looking at her for a minute before he started talking. "You go to Saint Finbar's?" "That's right." Susan answered and went back to her newspaper. She didn't want to talk to him, I could tell but he wasn't getting the picture. "I go to Henson House. Across the road. I've seen you... sitting there by yourself. Or with her. You two seem to be together a lot." He said motioning to me. "Yes, well... I grew up with her for years, she's like a sister to me. Other than that, I prefer to be alone." Susan told him. It's true, we grew up for fifteen years in Narnia and I was her sister-in-law. That was a pretty straight forward don't talk to me thing to say, but this guy was either clueless or idiotically stubborn. "Me too. What your name?" "Phyllis." Susan lied and I stifled a laugh. "Susan! Ali!" Lucy yelled, running up to us. "You'd better come quickly." Lucy said and I picked up my stuff as Susan put down the newspaper and picked up her own stuff. Then we ran across the street to the underground railroad station. All the kids in there were yelling. "Fight! Fight! Fight!" We squeezed to the front of the crowd and we saw two guys beating up Peter. They got a hold of him and he looked up at us. Susan gave him a 'really'? And an 'again'? Face. I gave him a concerned one. I was worried about him, but I couldn't help him, it was disgraced for a girl to fight. I missed Narnia when a girl had just as much rights as a guy. They pushed Peter into a wall and started beating him. Then Peter pushed one off and one pinned him against the wall. To make it worse, Edmund got there and pushed by us and joined the fight to make it two on two. "Edmund!" Lucy yelled. Edmund tackled one of them to the ground. One of the guys kicked Peter at the ribs and Edmund tackled that guy. A man came through the crowd and blew his whistle. They were going to be in trouble now. "Break it up. That's enough. Come on." One of the men said and pulled the men off of Peter and Edmund. "That's it. Get up. Act your age!" He told Peter. Lucy and Susan went and sat on a bench while I waited for them. Once they came over we sat on the bench too. Susan was on one end, then Lucy, then I sat down, then Peter sat down beside me and Edmund sat down beside him. "You're welcome." Edmund said because Peter did no say thank you. "I had it sorted." Peter claimed. Peter got up as Susan asked. "What was it this time?" "He bumped me." Peter answered. "So you hit him?" Lucy asked. "No. After he bumped me, they tried to make me apologize. That's when I hit him." Peter told us. "Is it that hard just to walk away?" Susan asked. "I shouldn't have to. I mean, don't you ever get tired of being treated like a kid?" "Yes." I answered before anyone else could. "I miss Narnia." I mumbled, slouching on the bench. "Guys. We are kids." Edmund said. "Well I wasn't always. It's been a year." Peter started as he came back and sat down on the bench. "How long does he expect us to wait?" "I think it's time to except that we live here. It's no use pretending any different." Susan said. "I know that may be easy for you, but it's not for me. I grew up in a different world. I was there for centuries, with Aslan, Jadis (though I do not miss her), a place with fauns, centaurs and dwarfs, and my powers. And now it's all gone. How do you think I feel?" I ranted. It was silent and Peter grabbed my hand and gave me a comforting kiss on the cheek. "Oh no." Susan said as the train approached. "Pretend you're talking to me." Susan told us. "We are talking to you." Edmund said. I looked over and saw the guy from earlier. I couldn't suppress a laugh. Then Lucy jumped up from the bench and yelled. "Ow!" "Quiet, Lu." Susan said. "Something pinched me!" She exclaimed and then I felt a push and I fell over. "Very funny. Who did that?" I asked. They all just looked at each other. "Stop pulling!" Peter jumped up from his seat as well, looking at Edmund, blaming him. I got up as Edmund said. "Not touching you." "Look, would you all just... what is that?" Susan asked as Edmund and her got up. "It feels like magic." Lucy said. "Quick, everyone hold hands." Susan told us. I grabbed Peter and Susan's hands. The ceiling and walls started breaking. Then a whole wall broke in, showing a tunnel. The train in front of us was going so fast I couldn't see past it. By the time it passed there was a beach in front of us and we were in a cave. We walked out of the cave and looked around. All three of us girls looked at each other and smiled as we ran towards the water. Peter and Edmund were close behind. As we ran we took off our overtops and shoes. We pushed each other and ran and chased each other playfully. We got in the water and we started splashing each other. We were laughing and having more fun than we had had in a while. "Come on Susan, hurry up! Come on it's lovely!" Peter yelled. Lucy fell over and got soaked, then Peter picked me up bridel style and twirled me around and then dropped me.
