Chapter 1

My name is Nicole and I have brown hair and big brown eyes. I live in a small town of Forks Washington. You would think my life is perfect, peaches and cream, but no. The truth is my dad Eric beats me. He even gave me a closet for a room. I am super clostrofobic, and he knows that but doesn't care. I don't get food often either, sometimes I manage to sneak some water. I mean, when he forgets to lock the closet which locks on the outside. Other than that no except when there is guests. I go to Forks high school because I skipped two grades. I could of skipped more but they wouldn't let me. Anyway today is Monday the first day of school. I am waiting in a locked closet for Eric to let me out of the god damn closet. It is 3:00 in the moring you might think I am nuts waking up at that time, but before in the summer I got used to 2:00 in the morning. I had to clean and go get everything he wanted.

Eric finally came at 3:30. I go get dressed and then put some cover up on fun, I know right. After I come down stairs he kicks me in my ribs and says "You are worthless piece of shit. Don't tell anyone, or I will kill them and all of the people you care about and save you for last. It's all your fault your mother is gone. You don't know anything you are so stupid. I don't even know if you have a brain." Eric said

"ok si-iiii-rr I won't." See the reason he does this is because my mom died in a car accident. She was on her way to my birthday after getting a present when I was 4 and he likes making me feel like sh*t. I zoned out he stepped on my leg and I heard a crack. A scream almost creeped out of my mouth.

I had courage and said "I just covered your work and you just go and rebrusie everything. You are such as bad person I hate you!" With that response he picks me up and throws me outside. I groaned, getting up and make my way to school, limp all the way there.  Today was Wednesday at 4:30 and I get there at the school at 5:30. There is only two cars and there is a Volvo and a nice jeep and the people, they are all starring at me . I go and sit on the bench and a pixie girl came over.

  "Hi my name is Alice. What is your name?" 

"Hello my name is Nicole. Nice to meet you."

"How old are you and what grade are you in?"

"I am 14 and in 10th grade. How about you? "

" I am 16 and in 10th you must be smart."

Alice took me over to her family and said, "Nicole this is my boyfriend Jasper." She pointed at the blonde hair dude that looked in pain.

"This is Emmett and Rosalie and they are dating." She pointed to a buff dude that scarred me all though any dude scares me and she pointed to a Blondie.

"Lastly this is Edward and his girlfriend Bella." I got scared he was looking at me like he was trying to read my mind.

"Lastly this is Renesmee." Alice told me.

"Hhhihi nnnicce to mmmeet yyou" I stumbled over my words. I go back to the bench and sit down.

"Are you ok Nicole, you are limping" I turned and saw Emmett say.

"Ya I just fell on my way to school I walk for 1 hour." I said. They just looked shocked I didn't know what I said wrong then I realized I said I walk 1 hour oh shoot.

A lot of cars started coming. I saw Jessica coming up to me, she used to bully me last year. "Look who we have here little miss excuses. What did you do run in a tree this time is that why you have bruises huh. Or is it that your face is just that ugly?" The whole croud around her snickered. Next i said "Omg seriously you are picking on a kid that is younger and smaller is that what really suits you? Cause if that is what you are trying to do that is just sad and cold." All I felt was kicking and punching by her. I started coughing up blood ewww. Yuck. I went into the woods to calm down and get my temperature normal. I decided to stay out here until the bell rang, and started to get up and go to my first class so I don't completely miss school.
