Chapter 2

I went into the woods until the bell rang. I got up and started to go to class.

Once I got there Mr. Frank was mad and said "GO TO THE PRINCIPAL'S FOR BEING LATE ON THE FIRST DAY! YOU ARE IN 10th GRADE YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR WAY AROUND THIS SCHOOL." Everyone chucked at that.

"No I think I will stay thank you for asking, I will just take my seat in the back of the class." I answered Everyone laughed at the teacher getting told by a student.

"This is not over! I will find a way to get you in detention." He replied

I went to my seat and it was next to Rosalise.  "Are you ok I saw those kids messing with you and you got beat up and started coughing up blood."she questioned

" Ya thank you for asking Rosailse ." I said

"You were late for class and it got me worried for a minute there and also you can call me Rose." She told me. After that I fell asleep and I woke up to someone tapping my shoulder it was Rose.

"It time to go to your next class come on" she said.

"Thank you for not telling the teacher I was sleeping during his class. He said that he would give me detention next time I did anything, even though it is the first day." And with that we just walked off to our next class. For me I had world history yes my fav. We had a quiz to see what we knew. I finished in 30 minutes I was first next Jasper finished. 10 minutes later the teacher called us up and ask "how did you manage to get 100% , it's the first day of school still and you guys were the first ones done in my class. I didn't expect anyone to get 100%, this is all the stuff we will be learning this year."

We just shrugged "history is fascinating."we said at the same time. We all just chuckled. Next was lunch yum all though I don't have any money so I won't be getting lunch but whatever I am used to it. The Cullen's told me to sit with them. They asked "why aren't you getting food?"

"I ate a big breakfast so I am not hungry" I told them, and they answered the same thing. Rose and I talked for a while. The Cullen's look shock I guess she is mean to everyone else, except her family and me since I am her friend.

"Would you like to have a sleepover this weekend." Rose asked me.

" Ya sure. Depends what Eric I mean my dad says." I answered. "What days do you want to have it." I questioned.

"how about Friday into Sunday." They told. The rest of the day went quick because I had math,English chemistry,languages. They offered to drive me home I said sure. "Drop me off on Maple street at the sign, my house is like a minute away I think I can manage walking." I said they just nodded. When we got there I started walking to my house which is a block away from where they dropped me off.

When I got home Eric slammed me on the ground "Did you tell b*tch. You better have no friends!" He yelled.

"No sirrrr." I answered. He punched me and kicked me till I started coughing. I got up, and made dinner then "get a job and sleep outside tonight because, I don't need to hear you late at night come in!" He screamed. I walked out the door with my backpack to work at the hospital. I went there and asked to the lady at the desk "Excuse me miss can I have a job here as a volunteer please?"

She went back to talk  to a doctor named by Doctor Cullen, he came out and told me "You can help me out and learn the ways of being a doctor." I noticed he was pale with blonde hair and the same color eyes as the others but they told me they were adopted. It's impossible to have the same color eyes.

"Hello I am Dr.Cullen. What is your name?" He asked

"My name is Nicole and nice to meet you Doctor Cullen." I replied We walked to his office and talked first

" Why such a young age to decide to work at the hospital out of all the places?" He questioned

"I picked this because I don't like seeing people in pain, and I want to help the people. I want to help them out of bad places to help them through things." I answered.

"Wow that is a very good thing to think about at such a young age as you. Want to help me with some patients tonight? How long because I am sure you have school?" He said

"Ya I do have school I can work till 11:00 if you want. Also by any chance are you related to Rose and Alice because if you are they are planing a sleepover for Friday into Sunday." I answered.

He chuckled and said "yes they are my children. I adopted them when they were young." Dr.Cullen and I stated checking up on patient, until a girl around 19 came in. Right away I could smell blood so I ran and got a wheel chair. Doctor got her and put her in the wheel chair she needed surgery. Doctor went to go wash his hands and get ready for surgery, while I was getting ready to hand him stuff and help him out. I started watching him stitch the patient up and make sure she is stable and put her in a room. We went around checking on patients and talking until it was time for me to leave. Before I left he handed me a phone for work. We said goodbye. I went into the woods and walked until I saw the school and fell asleep close but still in the wood by that time it was 12:00 so I did my homework in the dark and went to sleep.
