I had to put this video in because it is a great song and also so many people get abused out there and not many people realize that. Some schools actually play this video and there are a decent amount of kids that confess to getting abused at home.

Two days later,

I woke up and looked at the day on my phone, it is Saturday at 12:00. The memories came flowing back in my head of what happened Thursday, Eric freaking out because of the cast also because I was late. I decided to go work at the hospital with Carlisle even know my body hurt everywhere. I have a black eye that you could probably see from a mile away. I got up and pain shot through my whole body, and I didn't want to stand but forced myself to do so. I limped out of the closet thank god he left the door unlocked. I dug my phone out and called Carlisle's number. He answered.

Carlisle: Hello Nicole how are you? Are you feeling better?

Me: Yes I am and can I come into work today to make up some hours.

Carlisle: Of course but, are you sure you are up to going to work today. I mean you just got over being sick.

Me: Yes I am fine don't worry I will come in about I hour

Carlisle: Ok bye see you then!

Me: Bye

We hung up, I went and put on the only hoddie I had and some skinny jeans that I had in my box of clothes that were all riped. Next I went into the restroom and looked for conseler but couldn't find any. Shoot now doctor Cullen is going to notice my eye but you know what screw it. It's just another lie to make up. I walked downstairs only to be hit with a fist flying in my face. "Where do you think you are going." He said

"Going to wo work sir." I replied

"You better not let anyone find out I abuse you or there will be conscequences." He threatened

"Ok Dad bye." I said to annoy him.

"Don't you ever call me f*cking  Dad unless people are around." He yelled

Eric tried to punch me but I dodged and ran towards the door and made it out. I got to the hospital in 30 minutes and ran into the door of the hospital but I was out of breath. I got water and went to Carlisle office and waited because I knew he was going to ask about my eye. 5 minutes later and he asked with concern " Hi Nicole what happened to your eye? Are you ok?Hows the arm doing?"

"Hi, I am fine and does it look bad! I am a klutzes so pretty much I tripped. The arm is good." I answered

"Really you fell are you sure. It looks more like a punch." He said suspiciously.

"I am fine I am a klutzes. What is there to do today." I replied

Carlisle kept studying my face and then explained I would be going to see if anyone needs anything and I would be working until 12:00 at night.

I went to room 201 to check on a little girl that was 8. She had been beaten by her father. Her name was Emma. I felt so bad because it was like me except Emma's beating was bad she has broken ribs, and a bolt wound in her shoulder which will leave her paralyzed. I felt a tear roll down my eye. "How are you do you need anything?" I asked in a raspy voice.

"I am ok just in a little pain. What is your name and what happen to your eye." Emma questioned

"Ok I just wanted to check and see how you were and nothing much I just fell. My name is Nicole by the way." I say

"I can tell you are lying Nicole, just between you and me that is what I used to say. I know you get beat please don't lie I won't tell it will be between you and me." She laughed

I was just shocked I laughed and said "Ok you are a smart Cookie not even doctors can figure that out it's so sad. You are basically my only friend and we will stick together in this."

"How long have you been abused? was abused since I was 4. I am sorry if I am being rude just curious. Also what happen to your arm is that a cast?" She asked

"Since I have been 10 years old and my worst nightmare pretty much my bullies did that." I answered. By 6:00 she fell asleep and I went to find doctor Cullen. I was already attached to the little girl she was like a sister to me that I never had. Once I found doctor Cullen I said "Sorry I got caught up talking to Emma she is very sweet."

Carlisle then said one thing that broke my heart "She came in because she was in the street and got hurt." She lied but the only reason I knew is because I have like a sense where I can tell if you are getting abused. I stared at him and tears formed in my eye but I struggled to hold them back but I managed.

"Are you ok? Also how is your arm?" He asked

"Yes and good." I replied We talked for hours until Eric came in at 10:00.

"Hi dad how are you?"  I said i knew he was drunk but so what.

"I am not your father b*tch. Don't ever call me that. Where is my dinner? You h*rror you probably are trying to find someone to sleep with you." Eric screamed

"Dad go home you are drunk. Heat up something and go to sleep." He then slapped me right in front of doctor Cullen it echoed through the whole hospital.

He walked out the door.

"Doctor Cullen I am sorry. He is not usually like that." I told him

"I am not letting you go home with him tonight you are coming to my house." Carlisle said

"Ok" i mumbled

After the shift he drove back to his house. Once we got there I step out of the car "Wow what a beautiful house you have." I said

"Thank you." Carlisle answered

We walked inside and Rosalie and Alice ran up and hugged me. Emmett chest bumped me. Jasper and Edward and Bella waved and renesmee was asleep. So  what a chest bump may hurt but hurt is life so deal with it like a man. They then asked what happened to my eye.

I told them "Oh that I just fell you know me am a klutz."

"Not to be rude but why are you here." Edward questioned

"My dad is drunk and slapped me and Carlisle saw so he wanted me to come back." I told them carefully. I flinched when I said dad remembering Eric hated that.

They all came up and hugged me. "Not to be rude but I am tired. So can I get some sleep?" I ask

"Of course." Carlisle replied. He lead me to my room it was definitely comfier then the closet or the woods. I knew they were vampires but who cares they are nice and I know they only eat animals. Let's just say I know because I observant.  I know Alice can see the future because she looks off into space. Edward reads minds I know because he litterly stares at you and then when you think something funny he laughs. But don't worry he can't read my mind because I am a shield. I don't know if any other have any powers. I thought about that until my eyes got heavy and closed.
