Chapter 7

Recap

The next thing I felt was a hard hit on my head, and blackness consumed me.

I woke up and I was super dizzy. I took my hand and felt my head, there was blood oozing everywhere out of my head onto the rotting wood making the wood stained red. I realized I had to go to work because I wasn't there yesterday. I pushed myself up from the porch. Now I was walking down the street probably looking drunk. Next thing I know I passed out on the street. I felt two warm arms pick me up from the street and I think it was Seth. I tried opening my eyes, but they only came slightly open.

"Nicole! NICOLE! CAN YOU HEAR ME!" Seth yelled

"Yes." I mumbled quietly trying to keep my eyes open.

"I am taking you to the hospital." Seth told me, scooping me up into his strong musculer body.

He brought me into the hospital. "HELP!HELP!HELP!" He screamed.

Jenny aka the lady at the desk came over and Carlisle came running out.

"WHAT HAPPENED?????" Carlisle screamed almost suddenly when he saw me in Seth's arms.

" I don't know I found her on the street!" He said sadly like he was about to cry. Seth placed me on the stretcher and Carlisle rushed me to surgery. While he was walking he was telling keep my eyes open, but I couldn't and closed them.

Seth's P.O.V

I was so worried for her. I found her laying on the street and this is my fault for not being there for her. I am now waiting in the waiting room, waiting for Carlisle to tell me if she is ok. I called Leah seeming she was friend with my Nicole.

L: hello Seth, where are you mom is worried sick about you

S: it's Nicole she is in the emergency room. Can you come

L: don't worry Seth I am on my way

Then we hung up.  She got here and we waited together.

4 days later,

Nicole's p.o.v.

Where am I? I am in a white room and Seth and Leah are sitting there sleeping. Where is that beeping coming from? Huh I must be in the hospital. Oh no, oh gosh Eric's gonna kill me.
"Hello where am I?" I said out loud and  doctor Cullen, I mean Carlisle came in. Seth and Leah woke up.

"Hello Nicole." Carlisle said calmly.

"Who is Nicole?" I answered wanting to mess with them. They looked at me with sceptical eyes.

Seth freaked out "Please tell me you remember me. I love."I cut him off and said "Hey I am just joking." I slightly laugh even though it hurts. They look at me relaxed.

"Nicole I glad you are ok, but now is not the time to joke. You have some pretty serious injuries." Carlisle told me.

"So what the damage doc?" I asked him

"Well Nicole you have 2 broken ribs, a broken leg, and lastly a concussion. Also what the fuck happened to you?"Carlisle said.

"Doc language geez!!! I was beat up in the streets, I left my house because my dad was drunk again. I didn't want anything to happen, so I left and boom next think I know I am on the ground bleeding rapidly from my head. They then left  a little before I saw Seth come up to me." I told them crying knowing when I go home I am probably going to die from going to the hospital. Seth came over and hugged me hard, but not to hard to hurt me. I felt safe in his arms.

Carlisle left for a while, so Seth,Leah, and I could talk. We talked about so many things like our favorite color,sport,car, really anything you can think of. I don't feel like the timid little girl I am around Seth. It was 5:00 so Seth and Leah had to go home for the night. They told me happy birthday and that we would celebrate when I get out of the hospital. Doctor Cullen checked up on me and said I was already healing quite nicely and quick. Carlisle left and went to check on other patients. Just then I saw Eric walking with a guy. They were walking towards Emma's room. Eric spotted me and started talking to his buddy. I realized his buddy must be Emma's father. I was scared and worried about Emma. Instead of going to Emma's room I saw them coming to my room. They shut the door and locked it I tried getting up, but failed at it.

"Well there you are bitch I was wondering where you went.Ben this is my horror of a daughter and the reason my wife is dead." Eric said with a toothy grin. You know the one a clown gives you when they are about to kill you. I was trembling as they came closer and closer. Eric grabbed my Iv and yanked it out of my arm.

"Ahhhhh!!" I screamed
Ben grabbed me by the neck and threw me across the room. I started coughing rapidly.

Jenny knocked "Please unlock the door Nicole. Are you ok? What is happening? Who is in there?" Jenny shot the questions very quickly.

"HELP ME PLEASE ITS MY ABUSIVE DAD!!" I cried loudly scared to death.

"FUCKING BITCH HOW DARE YOU FUCKING SAY I ABUSIVE YOU!" Eric practically screamed at me. He then stood right in front of me and started kicking me. I was coughing up red thick   Gooey blood in my hand that was dribbling on the cold hospital floor. I saw Seth bust throw the door and Eric pulled a gun out and aimed it toward me.
