I was in the catering shop today. The set was closed because there was a production meeting but of course grandma wouldn't give me the day off. I sat & waiting for a client to come in.

Grandma made everything from Cakes to 5 course meals. Her cooking was always delicious and made with love. In our city she was the best and a very well known caterer. She even catered Kim Kardashians wedding.

As i sat and made note of the many orders I heard the bell attached to the door chime.

"Hello I made and appointment for a consultation"

I looked up and the lady took off her sunglasses and flipped her hair.

"Come on I don't have all day" she lashed.

"Im sorry" I responded. "Name please?"

"Stephanie Lincoln. Im here to pick the menu & cake for my wedding. My fiancé couldn't make it today he got stuck in a meeting"

* 1 hour later*

"And make sure the flowers on the cake are edible please or he would have a fit. His cheap ass doesn't want to pay for a cake that you cant eat... got it?" She spun around on her heel before opening the door and leaving. "Got it. You have a nice day" I smiled faintly and opened the door for her. Boy was i glad she was gone and this day was over.

Keith😍: Im telling you Wendy's fries are better than McDonald's fries

I laid in bed laughing at the text Keith sent

Me: Boy you trippin, take ya ass to bed

Keith😍: You right 🤔. Goodnight Mei Mei 😘

I smiled at the text, locked my phone and shut of the light. I had yet another busy day tomorrow.

Next day - Lunch time

It was the same as before. I made sure all the food was set up and that everyone was happy with their meal. Soon after my phone chimes, it was Keith.

Keith😍: Hey Mei, I just got lunch wussup?

Me: Hey Keith, I just got done with some work. Hows your day?

I started to walk around the studio

Keith😍: Its good. Im bouta buss down some food here. I heard its good

Me: You always talkin to me about food

I was too busy texting to even look up at where I was going

Keith😍: I cant wait to see you again

I read his text and smiled from ear to ear . Before I knew it i was on the floor .

"Im so sorry " We both said at the same time. I got up and couldn't believe who i saw.

"KEITH! Omg hey! What are you doing here!" I said excitedly

"What do you mean what am I doing here. I work here girl! What you doing here?"

"Im the caterer here " I smiled

Keith was so overwhelmed to see me he grabbed my hands and yelled "AYO LUKE LOOK WHO WORKS WITH US MAN"

I felt this was destiny. What are the odds that I'm working with him.

Before I could get another word out I heard a woman screaming

"Babyyyyy!" She said while running towards Keith, jumping on him and kissing his lips.

I froze and had a confused look on my face. What is going on? Why is this random girl kissing him?

"Baby so yesterday I went to the- Oh looks like you already met her! Keith this is the caterer . Caterer this is Keith.. my fiancé "

I didn't even move. I was in shock. At the corner of my eye I saw Luke walk towards us with a smile then when he saw the scene he slowly backed away and ran.

As i stood in silence  I looked at Stephanie who was caressing Keith's arm then back at Keith who put his head down and swayed a bit.

"Um.. surprise? " he said while forcing a smile unto his face while nervously rubbing his neck.

I turned around swiftly and walked away as fast as I could. I turned the corner and leaned against the wall.

"I am gonna kill Kayla, Luke And Keith" I said to myself as I slid down the wall

I think I should make the chapters longer🤔 I just don't wanna give too much away in one chapter but thanks for reading & commentary is welcome. Tell me what should or should not be fixed. I wrote this chapter at 2 am so sorry if its a bit boring. It will get better 🙌🏾
