That night

That night at the docks, it was very quiet. The ocean would bash against the cliffs and not make a noise.
It was dark, there was nobody there, there were no stars out ever, i was starting to think this was all just a prank.
But suddenly, a short figure appeared on the rotting peer, he was as short as a toddler, but had a head as big as a fully grown man. I just stood there, he looked very dangerous but i had nothing to defend myself with, apart from maybe the letter i had brought with me, and packet of bonbons i had as a gift.

The silhouette took a large step in my direction, as large as he could take with his short legs. Then i could faintly make out the features on his face in the moon light, the had a a small mouth, the size of a penny it kept opening and closing, like he was trying to talk to me, or eat me. Ever was i stood on the spot, frozen.
Then i noticed his nose, what a nose! It looked like he had taken a stick of rock and stuck it on himself. It was two fingers long and was covered in seaweed-like substances rotting away on the spot. His eyes were covered up with massive hippy sunglasses, so i couldn't tell wether or not he was looking at me.
He took another step and i could see the rags he was wearing, covered in mud and dirt. One more step and i could smell him, a putrid fishy smell, like he had lived in a fishmongers his whole life. Slowly he came closer and closer, the smell got strong. Then we were face to face.
