Chapter 9

~Noah's POV~

Happiness. Pure, true happiness like I've never felt filled inside me the moment I stared into Ruby's eyes. 

The past few weeks was torture, but she hated me, and guilt swarmed me like wasps stinging me and I wasn't going to push my way into her life. She needed space. I couldn't even look into her eyes without the painful desire. It was like being cut open at the sight of her. 

But it didn't matter now, she was here and it felt like she took the words from my mouth. We talked forever that day. Aha in fact I don't think we ever stopped talking until we realised it's Friday.

'OH god I have school on Monday and our flights tomorrow' She cried

We frantically packed our bags.

"School's the last thing I want to think about, what if I end up having no friends??"

"I'm sure everyone will love you, I mean how could they not? We all need a friend who can pack at such a rapid rate"

"haha all jokes aside I'm really nervous, I just don't want to do this especially since the whole world now knows I'm your girlfriend my phone has been blowing up"

"Sorry again about that, maybe you could try homeschooling? I do it and really it's a lot easier"

"Hmm good idea, I'll ring my mum and see if she's okay with it"

She left the room to talk to her mum but I could see her expression through the door. It wasn't going so well. 

Suddenly she barged through the door, "UUGH it's a nope. I guess she has a point, its my A levels and she thinks school of all places is a good environment. Phah "good environment" yeah if it was for toxic bitches"

~End of Noah's POV~

------------------------------------Saturday flights landing-------------------------------

''Ruby wake up!'' Noah said shaking me.

''I was still snuggled into him. I peeped through one eye looking at him. He still didn't notice I was awake.

''If you don't wake up I'll pour ice water on you.'' I felt him starting to move his hands.

''Okay I'm up! I'm up!'' I said opening both eyes.

''The lady said we'd be landing in 15 minutes.'' He looked down at his phone ''Well now we should be landing, since it took me 15 minutes to wake you''

I rolled my eyes at him and looked out the window. Yep we were landing. Once we got to the airport we went to find our bags.

''Sooo how are we getting home?'' I questioned him.

''Oh I'll call Michael'' He grabbed his phone to dial, right when my mum called me. I answered.

''Hi mum!"'

''Hi sweetie!'' I could tell she was smiling, ''So guess what?!'' 

''What?''

''I got us a house!!'' Oh no, i forgot to tell her Noah and I are together again...

''Uhmm...Is it close to Noah?''

''I'm sorry...'' My heart dropped in my stomach, ''I tried my best to get away from him.''

''No, no! I don;' want to be away from him. Mum, we sorted it out, we're together again.'' I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Noah looked at me since he was done talking to Michael. He came over and put his arms around my waist, listening to the conversation.

''Well...'' She drifted off again. ''Well then that's great because we only moved across the street.'' I sighed in relief and Noah kissed my cheek. ''So when are you coming home? You have school soon!"

Ugh I forgot to ask about home schooling, ''Oh we're in the airport now. Noah's friend Michael is going to get us. I turned to Noah, ''Great! Now I start school in a week." He chuckled and led me to Michael's car which was waiting for us outside."

----------------------------------------Monday-----------------------------------------

My alarm clock roared in my ear. I looked over at Noah, who was rubbing his eye. Noah slept over at my house last night, he sleeps over a lot. Well, either that or I stay at his house. 

I have school today, great!. Noah insisted he would drive me to school the first day. I tried to protest but he won.

We both got dressed and ran downstairs to grab breakfast.

''You excited for school?'' He winked at me

''Over joyed!'' I smirked at him, ''No-ones gonna talk to me.''

''I'm sure you're going to be the most popular girl ever!'' He got grabbed my hand and led me to his car. Well one of his cars, how many does he need.

Well here we go, first day of senior year I hope all goes well.
