Chapter 10

I walked into school after giving Noah a hug and watching his car drive away. I wish he could stay with me. I don't want to do this alone. But here goes nothing.

I walked into school and looked down at my schedule.

Form: Room 211

Maths 1: Room 312

Spanish 1: Room 41

History: Room 19

Art: Room 200

Music: room 209

Well, I guess my schedule wasn't too bad. Except for Spanish. I hate languages. Well I guess I'm looking for room 211. Hmmmm... Saw room 209,210.. 211! I walked into the classroom and all eyes were on me. I looked down, I hate when people look at me. I went over to the teachers desk.

"New student?" I nodded. "Ahh, lets see...Ruby?"

"Yes" I replied

"I'm Mr.Sean, nice to meet you, you can take a seat next to Ashley over there."

As I was walking everyone was staring at me. Great. I'm the new girl. i sat down next to Ashley, i expected her to say Hi or something but instead she just came right out and said it.

"Your NOAH BROWN'S Girlfriend right??" She seemed really excited, emphasising his name. I kept my mouth shut. I didn't want people around my school being my friend to get to Noah. Then i felt a tight grip on my arm, it actually hurt.

"Excuse me?? I'm talking to you, are you like deaf or something??"

"I know, I heard you." I said ripping my arm from her grip. Did she really find it necessary to pierce my arm to talk to me.

"Well, aren't you going to answer?" She rolled her eyes at me, I wish Noah were here.

"I know you already know the answer" I stated trying my best to keep my anger bottled in.

"Okayy, you don't have to be a bitch about it, what does he even see in you anyways, you're not even pretty" She said as everyone laughed.

I didn't say anything, i didn't need to start something on my first day. I could tell it was going to be a longgg year. I was going towards the door when one of Ashley's friends rammed into me, making my books fall and go everywhere. Everyone started laughing. I'm so embarrassed.

{Noah's POV}

I just dropped Ruby off at school. I wish I could go through the first day with her but it wouldn't be fair on her. I bet she's made loads of friends, who wouldn't want to be friends with someone as sweet and gorgeous as her. 

What if she met some cute guy and ditches me? I laughed at myself.

Ruby would never ditch me.

Would she?

(A few hours later)

I just received a text at 1:30pm from Ruby. It read..

"Please Noah, take me home. It's a mess, I miss you so much and I can't stand it here. Have no words, just broken please come, come get me?"

I didn't have to think twice. I ran downstairs, told my mum I was leaving and drove towards her school, I felt so bad for her, what could've happened? We had an agreement that she'd get through the whole day unless its an emergency... I sped up.

*Before Ruby texted Noah*

It was lunch now. I guess Ashley spread a rumor that I "slept" with loads of guys. Of course everyone believed her, it's just the new girl's word against hers... I quickly came to a realisation that everyone was afraid of Ashley and she was the most insecure of them all. Everywhere i turn I hear things like "Slut, Noah dates her?!" and "Ewww she probably has an std" I'm sure I do so please don't come near me, I might infect you. Like seriously? How stupid were some of these people.
