THIS IS NOT KACEYEX's WRITING. I AM HER FRIEND. SHE WAS TELLING ME ABOUT THE BOOK AND THE DIFFERENT ENDINGS AND I CAME UP WITH THIS ONE AND SHE TOLD ME TO WRITE IT.
(Also I haven't read the story so if some things don't make since that's why. Ok on with the story now)

*one week later*
Things have definitely calmed down since last week. Adam has been a lot more bearable. I don't know why he's doing this but I think he's sick. I don't know with what or to what degree but something's definitely off with him. He's been quieter lately. His face has looks pale. His movements have been jerky and sudden. He's been unfocused and paranoid. The slightest sound is enough to make him jump straight out of his chair. Something is definitely wrong. But I'm not complaining. Its horrible to say, I know but seeing him go through hell makes this whole thing better, knowing he's going through what he put me through. Maybe it's karma, maybe it's just the universe getting back at a sick person. I don't know but I'm really enjoying this.

I am walking towards the front doors to go home when I heard a sound from the janitors closet. It sounded like someone fell over. I slowly opened the door, afraid of what I might see. Then I saw that it was Adam, but he was alone. His head was tilted up so his face was looking somewhere between the ceiling and the top half of the wall. His eyes were completely blank and glazed over in grey. Everything hung limp. He was sweaty and pale, paler than he'd been all week, and he was groaning a little.
"Oh my god are you okay?? Do you need hel-"
I couldn't finish the sentence because I was cut off by a voice that definitely was not Adams. It was way to deep to be his, and rough and scratchy like sand paper rubbing against sand paper.
He jerked around to face my general area then said "Get. Out."
He was calm. But his voice sounded demonic. He sounded crazy. Like he forgot to take his meds that morning. This is going to haunt my dreams for the rest of my life I thought to myself. But I tried one more time.
"Please Adam, please. Let me help you."
His eyes said it all he wanted me to go away so I closed the door and let him continue whatever he was doing.
I walked down the hall, heart thumping hard in my chest and I didn't stop or look back until I was in the car and the doors were locked.

I was so preoccupied thinking about what I had just encountered that I almost got in a wreck. I didn't even see the red light. Just kept driving right through it, on the wrong side of the road. Luckily the cars coming from either side hit their brakes in time. One of the cars I almost ran head on into laid on they horn, dragging me out of my thoughts for just long enough to swerve back into my lane. By some miracle no one was hurt.

I was so shaken by this encounter and confused by my earlier encounter with Adam that I went to bed as soon as I got home. I remember starting to dream about an average day accept every one was in fast motion and I was still going the average speed. I went through my normal day but I couldn't talk to anyone. No one realized I was there and I couldn't hear what they were saying to each other. At the end of that dream day I dreamt about my near car crash. Only this time instead of somebody laying on their horn everything just started fading to white, everything changed to slow motion. And stopped right as the bright white took over my entire field of vision. Even the seatbelt that I was wearing disappeared. The next thing I know I'm standing up in a bright white room with nothing in it. Then I feel a tap on my shoulder. I whip around to see a girl, she looks about fourteen or fifteen. She has bright red hair and pale skin. She opens her mouth to talk to me and I think that I won't be able to hear her, like everyone else in my dream. So I am surprised when a I can hear a slightly annoying voice come out of her.

"Hello, I know you're probably confused right now, and believe me, I know you've been through a lot. But I intend to answer every question you have right here. First I should start with where we are. We are in a middle ground of sorts. This place we're in now is not a dream, but it's not exactly reality either. For example, every thing about this probably feels like a dream. You are probably convinced this is a dream but I assure you it's not. I am actually talking and interacting with you just in your subconscious, where no one else can hear us. I will remember this tomorrow and so will you. Okay, now that that's covered let me tell you about what's been happening to you. Why you have been bullied so excessively. Basically it's a test. We are colonizing Venus. We need people to go up there and live out their lives. I have been doing this to teens all over America and in some other countries as well. You are going to have a hard time believing this but I have been controlling their brains. Everyone that has bullied you. We need the toughest teens out there that can withstand anything. Physical endurance can easily be taught but emotional and mental endurance is something that is very very hard to change. Your mental and emotional endurance is something your born with and is pretty much impossible to change. You survived. You passed the test. With flying colors I might add. What you saw Adam doing in the janitors closet was just him getting false memories back of everything that happened since we took him over. It's completely normal and he is not being hurt at all. Now let's talk about what it means that you've passed the test. We want to invite you to go to Venus. What will happen is you will start going to a training camp that will continue until you turn 21. Then you and a group of other teenagers, or I guess you will be adults by that time, will be sent to Venus to carry out the rest of your lives. We cover your families living costs for the rest of their lives. And their children for the rest of their life. As well as the fame of having your name go down in history as one of the people that opened up the threshold between earth and the rest of the universe. We will help you out as much as we can on Venus but we can't help too much without jeopardizing the project. Our goal is to get people self sufficient on Venus. That won't happen if we're providing every need for the rest of your lives.  So you will start out with a lot of help and hopefully end with close to none. But we will be here if you need us. We completely understand if you want to decline our offer. I know it's a lot to take in which is partially why I decided to do this in your sleep. Sleep acts as a numbing agent to the brain. It makes it easier for people to process difficult information, hence the expression 'sleep on it'. Anyways I know this is a lot to take in but we'll need an answer by the end of the week. When you are ready to give your answer slip a note with your answer on it in your pocket and think about meeting me in this room while your fall asleep. It was so nice to finally meet you. I hope you consider our offer. Until next time keep this coin to remind you to think about it and to prove this is more than a dream. I hope to see you again soon."

I slid the coin in my pocket and when I looked up, she was gone. But I didn't feel scared, or overwhelmed as you might expect. I felt very peaceful. And with that, I drifted off into the black abyss of sleep.

*Five days later*
I take a deep breath and turn out the lights. With a shaky breath I fold up the slip of paper and slip it into the pocket of my sweatpants. I take the shiny coin out of the drawer and examine it one last time. Even without the lights on I can make out the details of Venus on the coin. I run my finger over the face of it and then grip it in my hand like it's the one thing keeping me tethered to the ground. I crawl into bed. The weight of the decision drags me down into sleep almost instantly. I know I am supposed to think about that girl as I'm falling asleep but my mind keeps wandering to the note in my pocket. When I wrote it my hands were shaking. The Y and the E are barely legible. But I remember taking a deep breath and writing a crystal clear S on the scrap of notebook paper. As I transfer from the blackness of sleep to the blinding white of my subconscious I know that the trigger has been pulled. There is no turning back now.

I hope you guys liked that!! I know I'm not as good as the usual author but I kind of like to write really weird stuff from time to time. So here you go.

Also who got the The Maze Runner reference?????? (There were actually like three but if you put them together if makes one big reference) If you did I love you and we should be friends. If you didn't I'll give you a hint The Death Cure pg 250 (the page that ruined my life) ok byeee
