Walking on Glass

Walking on glass,

feeling the cracks.

This is m life,

fragile as glass.

One wrong step

and I'll fall.

The glass cracks,

I stop,

letting it settle

before I take

another step.

'CRACK!'

A stinging pain

as my foot gets sliced,

I wince but

force myself to

walk on,

not trusting the glass.

Another step,

one foot in front

of the other.

More cracks,

more steps,

more cuts.

When will the glass end?
