Beth was very quiet on the plane which for Beth was worrying as she was a chatterbox. john kept on asking her if she was OK and she just shock her head yes.
Once the plane had landed and their luggage was put into the boot of their car. john sat next Beth
"kitten whats wrong what's worrying you ?"
"I'm sad daddy"
"why are you sad"
" i don't want to be in merica daddy" john started smoothing down Beth's hair in that loving matter that john always did to his daughter
"Beth America is fun i promise you that you will love it here"
"will i get to see my mummy again" Beth asked her huge brown eyes that she inherited from john brimming with tears
"oh kitten of course you will see mommy again. she just needs to stay in a special place for a few months so she gets back to her fun and loving mommy that she used to be"
"will Yoko like me daddy?"
"she will love you just as much as i do how can someone not fall in love with you" Beth gave her daddy a huge smile.
They finally arrived at the Dakota buildings and john grabbed Beth's hand and led her into the building and up to their apartment. John opened the door and brought Beth inside her new home
"Yoko where are you we are home again"
Yoko walked out of her and john's bedroom and into the living room where they were standing Yoko was wearing all black and her long black hair covered most of her face. Beth found Yoko scary. Yoko leaned down to Beth's level
"hello Beth" she said coldly and Beth turned away and buried her head into john's legs. John laughed nervously and leaned down to face Beth
"kitten whats wrong are you being all shy princess" Beth looked up into her father's eyes
"she is scaring me daddy" she whispered
"honey come on now kitten there is nothing to be scared off you will have fun with Yoko"
"i don't want Yoko i just want you" "you have me princess your my number one girl sweetie will you just give Yoko a chance for me "
"OK daddy i will try".Beth walked over to Yoko
"hello I'm Beth" she held out her tiny hand and Yoko shook her hand
"I'm Yoko its um nice to meet you" john giggled at how proper Beth was being. he went and grabbed Beth and she giggled
"lets get you settled into your room and get unpacked"
"you said merica was going to be fun unpacking is boring"
Beth had been in America for a solid month now and she still didn't like it and she didn't like Yoko she didn't like how Yoko always shouted at her and told her off when her daddy wasn't around.
John was at the recording studio today leaving Beth with Yoko. Beth walked into the kitchen and was hungry. Yoko hasn't left her bedroom since john left this morning so Beth hadn't had any breakfast and it was now lunch time.
Normally May would make Beth some food when Yoko was hiding away in her room but today was May's day off. Beth's tummy started to rumble and she didn't want to knock on Yoko's bedroom door and ask her to make her lunch as Beth was scared of her even more so now Yoko had taken to shouting at her for every little thing.
Beth grabbed a stool and started to climb on it trying to reach the cupboard to where her favourite cereal was kept when Beth slipped and fell onto the kitchen floor with a huge thud and Beth was knocked unconscious.
John was tired after a hard days recording and was glad to be at his front door. John walked into his home and took his coat off and shouted
"Beth"
"Yoko"
"I'm home where are you?"
John stepped into their tiny kitchen and froze in horror at the sight of Beth lying on the floor. John ran over to her
"Beth Beth kitten come on sweetie its daddy open them eyes now hunny"
hearing the commotion Yoko came into the kitchen
"oh my god whats happened john"
"you fucking tell me you were meant to be looking after her"
" i uh i just left her for a minute"
"save your fucking excuses for later just phone a ambulance and you better start praying because if my daughter is seriously hurt there will be fucking hell to pay"
john grabbed Beth and put her onto his lap while stroking her hair
"please be OK kitten daddy needs you to be OK"
