All I ever need ~ Austin Mahone

Frost bitten noses and shaking bodies.

That's what Zayn Malik and Azalea were a couple Fridays later at Willow Park.

"Oh my gosh, it's freaking freezing. I feel like I'm back at home." Zayn breathed out as he clung onto his camel colored sweater, the one that had dark brown butterflies on the chest.

"The weather has been crazy, I think summer is officially over and fall is pretty much gone too." Azalea said as she sat criss crossed in front of the pond with her hands tucked in her maroon hoodie.

"I like the cold but I am honestly gonna die right now." Zayn's abs contracted with the cold and his teeth clattered.

"Me too." Azalea agreed biting her bottom lip.

"C'mon, there's a coffee shop nearby, I can't stand being here anymore." Zayn stood up and Azalea followed.

They both walked through the nearly gone grass and got into Zayn's car. The comforting smell swooned Azalea sending her mind into a calm paradise. It made her feel as if Zayn's essence engulfed her entire being.

Soon, they were at a small crammed shop at the corner of a street.

"Can I get a mocha hot chocolate." Zayn gave his order to the short brunette with expecting cinnamon eyes.

"I'd like tea." Azalea ordered as well.

"Hm, I guess you're more British than I thought." Zayn teased as they sat down at a table near the window. He set down two plates of his favorite pumpkin pie that he had bought.

"I want you to try this. It's made coming to the U.S so worth it." He told her.

Azalea took a spoonful of the pie, letting the luscious flavor dissolve on her taste buds. Zayn observed her face expression closely prior to smiling in satisfaction of her reaction.

"Wow." Azalea breathed staring at the heavenly dessert.

"Right?" Zayn smiled at her pleased expression.

"This is amazing." She took another spoonful.

"I love it cause it tastes similar to the pumpkin pie my mum makes at home. So it makes me feel better, ya know?" Zayn takes a sip from the glass mug getting whipped cream all over his mustache. He smiled, the kind of smile were his eyes squint and shine as if they had diamonds engraved in them. He was adorable.

And yeah, Azalea understood what he meant. She surprised herself when she thought of what made her feel better when she was feeling kinda low. Cause the answer wasn't Bear, or Dominic, or music, although it could have been a few months ago.

The answer was Zayn.

Smiles, giggles, laughs, squinting eyes and hearts falling in love is what you would've seen if you were to have entered a certain coffee shop at around 9:07 p.m.

"I was only trying to show my mum some love and she pays me with a bloody nose." Zayn said as Azalea was letting her laughter be untamed.

"That's what you get for being nosy." Azalea laughed.

Zayn loved the small puns and minimal jokes she made, cause they were adorable and made his heart jump and the smile on his face was impossible to hide.

They had been talking about so many things from their worst fears, to how it was possible for people to not recognize Hannah Montana cause, it was only a pity wig.

"Uh, I'm sorry to interrupt but it's closing time." The girl said.

"Oh, sorry sorry. We didn't realize the time. We'll get going." Zayn excused themselves to which Azalea gave him a embarrassed look.

They exited the coffee shop and walked to Zayn's car. Once inside, Zayn turned the heat all the way up and they stayed there for a while continuing their previous conversation.

"I should get you home. It's getting late and I don't want your brother to get worried." Zayn said after there was a brief silence.

Soon, they were in front of Azalea's house singing along to Trouble by Taylor Swift. Azalea loved to see how hyped up and happy Zayn got cause she agreed to sing along. He wasn't a ball of sunshine, he was so much more. He was a star, shining bright in the middle of the black darkness of her mind giving her light and hope when she's lost.

"Well, thank you for bringing me home." Azalea said shyly.

"You don't have to thank me but you are welcome." Zayn grinned.

Azalea's cheeks blushed a rosy pink when she nodded. She slowly reached for the handle and opened the door. She gave Zayn a "bye" before shutting the door and walking up the pathway of her house.

There was something tugging in Zayn's chest as he watched her leave. It was a sense of longing and joy and appreciation all at once. It was hard to explain but he felt that Azalea was much more than a friend to him and he couldn't contain it anymore. So, he stormed out of the car calling out a "wait" to her. Azalea turned around confused as Zayn approached her.

Zayn Malik stared into her mesmerizing forest green eyes that looked at him nervously and expectingly. And that feeling in his chest banged at his ribcage, begging to come out. So Zayn wrapped his arms around Azalea's skinny frame and brought her close to him. Closer than they had ever been.

Azalea's whole body froze, except for her heart that was beating harder than ever before. But Zayn held her tightly yet gently, burying his head in her neck and letting himself get lost in her smell of sugar cookies. Azalea did the same. Zayn's minty essence entranced her again enveloping her mind into a serene cocoon. She slowly and ever so carefully, wrapped her arms around Zayn's torso. Zayn's skin burned were her hands rested.

It felt so much more than just a hug. He wanted to transmit all the feelings he had for her. He wanted to show her, not tell her. It was such a random urge, but he had it and he wasn't going to reprend it.

So they stayed like that, with numb voices and beating hearts and smells becoming one.

Omg that last scene wasn't at all part of this chapter, it just came while I was writing. Oops. Sorry if it kinda sucked
