"Uncle Nick!!" the little boy exclaimed and got off me quickly
I was still warming the ground with my butt
"Uh..This is my UNCLE,he's name is NICK" the kid said obviously reminding me of that promise I had made not that long ago
"Yeah, I got that" I mumbled while trying to get up
But before I could, someone grabbed my hand and waist to help me
"It's nice to meet you,I'm Nick" he said looking into my eyes
They were so bright that even the grey in them looked to be a happy and mood lifting colour
I took a closer look at him, and let me tell you, he is so hot!
His grey eyes are surrounded by thick, dark lashes, beautifully sculpted eyebrows were above his eyes. His hair looked wet, as if he just got out of the shower, making it look even more black than it probably would have been when dry.
His strong jaw was covered in short stubble, making him look even hotter
I stopped exploring him like a science project, when I remembered that he had introduced himself and was now obviously waiting for an introduction back
"Oh..uhm, hi I'm Penelope"I said awkwardly, trying to remember where I had seen him before
"And I'm Noah" the little boy said, raising his hand up like we were in a classroom
"You just got to know each others names? I thought you were already on nickname basis judging by the position I found you in" Nick chuckled
Noah's face turned noticeably red
I smiled at how cute he looked
Then Nick suddenly lost his happy face and frowned while looking at me
Uhh..What? Is there popcorn in my nose? Crap, I thought I got it all out!
"Why do you have a bruise on your head?"
Oh shit!
Think if something, come on, come on
I walked into a wall. No, no that's too dumb.
I fell down the stairs. That's way too dramatic
I got hit by a door, yes that's it
I opened my mouth to say something but was beat to it
"I kicked a football and it hit her in the head!!"Noah exclaimed quickly, not being able to hide the accident any longer
Nick looked at him, but not with anger like there would be a punishment but rather a disappointment
" I told you not to play football indoors, didn't I?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry, I just thought that it would be fine because she was the only person standing but somehow the ball flew exactly onto her head" there was a little hint of laughter in his voice as he finished saying that
Oh this little faker pretended to be worried about me, but in reality just didn't want me to tell on him
"Yeah and then he jumped on me, pushing me to the ground, forcing me to promise not to tell you about it otherwise he would call very influential people that he knows and make my life miserable " I finished with a fake sad face
Noah looked horrified with his mouth open because of what I just said
Nick's face was pretty similar, looking from me to his nephew in shock
I couldn't hold it in any longer and started laughing
Noah looked relieved and started laughing with me but Nick just looked super confused
Only after few seconds did he realise I was kidding and joined us on the laughter
"Hey, I finally got it"Ben said handing me a huge shirt LRK written on it obviously being the teams name
"I got you extra large but now looking at you I'm not exactly sure it will fit" He said laughing a little at his own joke
I just rolled my eyes and looked back at Nick who was eyeing the t-shirt weirdly and giving a weird almost invisible smile
After Ben finished laughing he turned towards Nick and his eyes nearly bulged out of it's sockets
"R-Richards?" He stuttered
I looked at him for a moment trying to understand what the hell he is talking about
"No, this is Nick" I pointed to the hot guy in front of me "And this is Noah" I pointed to the little boy waving at us
"I know" said my brother not taking his eyes off of Nick "Nicholas Andrew Richards"
Okey I am officially creeped out, not only is is staring at him like a maniac but he knows his full name, I wouldn't be surprised if he could name all of his family members on the spot
However Nick did not look the least bit taken back by that
"Yes, nice to meet you.."he trailed off casually extending his hand towards my creep of a brother
He quickly took the chance and shook his hand "Ben, it's so nice to meet you! I am a really big fan of yours!!" he said excitedly, still shaking Nicks hand and not letting go
I quickly pulled his arm out of the handshake that had lasted a bit longer than needed
"Oh, is this the guy that you said, hit the final and only goal?" I asked my brother
He bobbed his head up and down making his brown, floppy hair fly around like a bunch of hay in the wind
"Oh that's really cool" I said turning to Nick
He looked at me and smiled looking very proud of himself
"But it would have been cooler if that had happened during the game and not when it was actually pretty much finished" I said feeling mad about my popcorn going to waste
Nick quickly dropped the smile and looked at me confused as if trying to figure out what my deal is
We stood there in silence for a little bit
"Alrighty, we better get going" I said clapping my hands together
I grabbed Ben's arm "Bye, it was nice meeting you two!!" I started pulling him towards the exit
Noah started waving again and Nick just stood there looking at me mute, like he had done for the past minute or so
"Wait" I stopped in my tracks
Turning around I saw Nick who had taken several steps towards us with eyes wide as if not believing he'd just said that
I lifted my eyebrows looking at him, as if indicating that I'm listening to whatever he had to say.
He gulped like he was getting ready to do something he's never done before
"Uh.."he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly
"Could I get your number?"he asked looking uncomfortable with his nephew next to him
My eyebrows shot up even higher than they had been before
He cleared his throat " I mean to check up on you about the bruise, you know, that's all"
"What bruise??" My brother perked in and started looking at my face intently
" It's barely a bruise" I said to my over dramatic brother "And I'm sure it will be fine, don't worry I'm not going to sue you or anything" I laughed a little bit
Nick was about to say something else but I was already out the door
"Au Revoir!" I said and waved my hand with my back towards them.
