"I think they should put up a legacy statue for him, I mean he is a freaking God"I was trying my best to ignore him just like most people around us but no one seemed to be successful in blocking out Ben's loud praises.

We are now shuffling out trough large double doors, into the lobby and I still haven't figured out how to get my bracelet back.

Should I break into the changing room? Or bribe the security guard.

All of those sound quite illegal to me.

'Or I could just wait in the lobby and see if he comes out?' says a voice in the back of my head.

Right. How did I not think of that?

I had to wait for him alone though, but getting rid of Ben normally isn't that easy.

As we moves towards the middle of the lobby I grabbed Ben by his jacket and dragged him to the side.

"Hey, can you go home alone? I've gotta wait for a friend here." hopefully that works.

He looked at me for a second and without a second thought said "You don't have friends."

Ouch. But it's true.

"It's a new friend"I quickly explained.

"A new friend? Why haven't I heard anything about her then?"he looked thoughtful

I almost rolled my eyes at him when he said 'her' like I can't have male friends.

"Listen, stop playing Sherlock Holmes and just drag your ass home" I said irritated

"But why?"he whined like a child

"Because I said so!" I lamely argued

"But-"He didn't get to finish.

"You go now or I tell mom where her Chinese vase disappeared"I threatened

"No need,I was gonna go anyway, I mean I don't care... you can do what ever you want"he quickly rushed out before I could throw out another threat.

Oh, there's so much I know.

I felt like having an evil laugh right now but looking around I realized that there's too many witnesses and decided against it.

*******

It did feel like an eternity. That's how long I have been waiting here for.

On the plus side the couches here are extremely comfortable, when I first sat in it my ass sunk right in, and the velvet texture also helped.

While I was out there, with my gaze down, admiring the couch I almost missed the reason I was here for to begin with.

My head snapped up when I heard a familiar laughter. Noah!

I quickly jumped to y feet and made my way towards my destination.

Nick noticed me approaching first and smiled "Looks like we have a crazy stalker fan."

"Hey buddy!" I fist bumped Noah who happily accepted it.

Nick then extended his hand in a fist, obviously suggesting for a fist pump as well.

I reached for his extended hand and undid my bracelet, that was surprisingly still on his wrist "Not a fan, just wanted my stolen bracelet back." I explained

"Stolen? I saved it! If it wasn't for me you would have never gotten it back." Nick argued.

"Sure, if that makes you feel better" I shrugged now putting the bracelet on my wrist.

Nick smiled down at me "Yes, it does actually."

I looked up and both of us exchanged, what felt like similarly confused looks.

I guess they were confused because neither of us knew what to do or say next. Ugh. Why am I so socially awkward?

"Alright, well thank you for this" I gestured towards my wrist "But I've got to go." I messed up Noah's already messy hair and started to make my way out.

"It was nice seeing you again!" I waved back with sadness, knowing fully well that if I leave now I am most likely never going to see them again.

And that's why I couldn't understand why I was in such a hurry to leave. I guess the silence between us was getting way too awkward for me to face any longer.

I had already made my way out of the stadium, trough transparent, glass doors.

As I walked on the wet pavement from one of the many London rains, I felt a hit on my back, but it didn't feel like a hit from a human and when I turned around I saw that in fact, I was right.

There a little to the side from me lay a football, by the looks of it, the same one that hit me on the face last time.

"Noah!" I exclaimed grabbing the ball.

I looked back at the cheeky boy casually walking towards me "Sorry, you were too far away, I didn't want to raise my voice to call you."

I groaned with annoyance but looking behind there was no sign of Nick.

Noah seemed to notice my confusion and explained "Uncle Nick forgot something in the locker room, so he went back to get it."

I nodded with understanding "Does he know you are outside?"

"Yes, he said you will look after me."he slightly scrunched his freckly nose as if thinking hard "I mean he just told me to catch up to you, but I guess the first part just kind of comes with it." he shrugged

I couldn't help but smile at how cute he was. "I don't remember applying for the position of a babysitter." I joked

Noah just waved his hand at me dismissively "You're already accepted."

He quickly snatched the ball out of my grasp and started doing all kinds of tricks I have only seen on TV.

"Whoa, that's good!" I exclaimed mesmerized by his talent.

If I remember correctly, at his age I was drawing stick figures, which hasn't exactly improved to this day.

In a few seconds I heard footsteps and looking up saw Nick jogging towards us with his sports bag held tightly in his grasp so it doesn't swing.

He stopped in front of me, not even lightly panting, raising his eyebrows at Noah, who now stopped his tricks.

"That was great!" Nick complimented, to which Noah nodded and looked away shyly.

That was a little weird. It's not something I would expect a confident kid like Noah do.

Nick looked up at me, seemingly thinking of something to say.

"Hey, Noah and I were about to go to the park. Would you like to join us?"

I was about make up an excuse to not go but didn't get to it.

Noah snapped his head up to look at me after hearing his uncle's proposal.

"Yeah, please come with us. It will be so fun." I couldn't help but smile at him and admire his cuteness.

Nick was looking at me expectantly, as if begging with his eyes to agree.

I sighed in defeat "Sure, I guess it could be fun."

Noah jumped up and down on his feet and quickly grabbed my hand to drag me in the direction of the park, but before I had fully turned I caughed a glimpse of Nick's face, which had a huge smile plastered on it.

Now I couldn't tell who was more happy Nick or Noah.
