I spun around, only to meet the blue eyes of a boy in what seemed to be in a blue and green superhero costume staring right back at me. His eyes were on the sunset behind me and I smiled slightly, taking a step back.

"Uh... sorry." I stepped away from his view but his eyes seemed to still be on me, I could feel them. It made me wonder why the suit had to be so damn tight, it was comfortable but still, it didn't leave much to the imagination. A small part of me wanted to cover up when I felt the heat of his gaze trailing down my curves for a moment before he looked back at the sunset.

"Thank you, I appreciate it, really. I've had the most stressful day and it just calms me, you know? I've been wanting to come up here for so long but I just haven't had the time and you know, I'm lowkey freaked out when it comes to heights. Sucks since I'm a bird... Don't tell anyone, wouldja?" I nodded slowly, letting out a fake, tight-lipped smile as I tried to understand why he was still talking and if he was talking to me or himself. His eyes were still focused on the sunset but they trailed to me every few seconds, forcing me to keep the smile on my face and wonder why he kept looking at me.

"Uh... who are you?" He rose and stuck out a hand for me to shake, sending me a cheeky smile that made me wonder what exactly he was thinking of. I shook his hand and he spun me around, leaving me slightly dizzy and completely dumbfounded when he dipped me. I looked around to see if there were other people around but he held my chin to make sure I kept my eyes on him, smiling and panting slightly. Damn, I love this guy's eyes. Doesn't mean I need to be so close that I can see the slight green in them, though. Gosh, he's kinda crazy. But in a good way. I felt goosebumps shoot up my arm and facepalmed at my body's reactions, looking away with the odd realisation that a slight pink hue had rested on my cheeks. Crap, Chloe, what are you doing?!

"Steel Peacock. Pleasure to make your acquaintance." I nodded slowly, pulling away from his grip on my waist and shook my head. Be like Ladybug. She plays hard to get with Chat Noir all the time, not like I like this weirdo but dammit, all he did was spin me! With those soft hands of his and that pretty smile and damn, those eyes- Chloe!

"I thought Steel Peacock was a girl," I started, circling him as I tried to bring my usual self out. My bitchy, opinionated self that he seemed to have silenced with his spontaneity.

"Well, you got your facts wrong. Don't you know it's the male peacocks who have those beautiful feathers? The peahens don't look half as good." He smirked and held back a chuckle. I rose an eyebrow, trying to tell if he was lying or not. For all I knew, he could have just been walking around in this suit and happened to find a girl susceptible to his charm. I refused to be that girl.

"Uh... pretty sure not many people know that. I mean, I do bu-" he threw his hands up in the air and groaned.

"Why not?!"

"I don't know? Don't blame the bee!" I rose my hands, forming an X in front of my face. I looked up over my hands only to find him staring at me. He continued on shamelessly, even when I dropped my hands to my sides and I felt my face heat up again.

"Hmm... Who are you?"

"I'm... Queenbee."

"Nice to meet you, bee-autiful." I raised an eyebrow.

"Are you supposed to be my sidekick? Like Ladybug and Chat Noir?" My eyes shone with hope but then he scoffed, making me fold my arms.

"Uhm, excuse me, sorry to burst that bubble but that's impossible. Me? Your sidekick? Ha! That's hilarious!" I sent him a glare, folding my arms.

"Why are you even here? Are you sure you're an actual superhero because I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to be partnered with Rena Rouge."

"Well, actually, the story of how I got this miraculous is a bit messed up. I'd rather not say for now, okay? But yeah, I accept."
