Chapter 1: Am I ready?

Summer is here! Which means, so is my birthday! I'm almost 20! The real question is, what am I doing next? I heard about musica.ly and decided to try it out. I really liked it a lot, and made more and more. I then got featured! My account blew up with so many fans! My goal was to move to LA, and turn 20 there. It's time, I have found an apartment, and I'm packing all of my things and moving on Wednesday.

2 weeks ago: I was sitting at home one night, and I decided to watch youtube. I found a compilation of best musical.lys 2016. I saw one musical.ly of this guy who was jaw dropping hot. I really wanted to find out his name, so I spent an hour going through the videos comments and not finding his name. I got tired and went to bed.

Now: I was at home on Tuesday night, and went on youtube and found a video of the same guy's musical.lys! I found out his name was Adym Alexander Yorba. He went by Ricco. He had a youtube channel, so I binge watched his videos! He was hot, and hilarious! I was going to move the next morning and I had to finish planning an epic 20th birthday party!

The next day I got up and I hopped into my car and headed out to LA after meeting my parents and a couple of my friends in the morning and saying bye. It was a six hour drive and I left at 9:00am and and stopped at 12:00pm at IHop and had some food. I reached my new apartment at 3:00pm. I unpacked all the boxes and set up and post mated Chinese food over to my house. After unpacking, changing into my pajamas, and eating dinner. I realized I had very little decoration and that I would have to do some shopping. Good thing there was a very huge mall near where I lived! I needed to get a birthday outfit too! I went to my bed and fell asleep.

I woke up at 10:00am, and hopped into the shower. I changed into some causal summer shorts and a crop top. I went to my room and put on my summer playlist from Spotify and started doing my makeup while singing "I put you in a beach house on the edge of Costa Rica Fuego". I grabbed my purse and my keys and headed out. I grabbed a caramel frappe from Starbucks and then went to the mall. I walked in and bought some summer clothes from forever 21. I walked into Pink by Victoria's Secret. I got a light weight jacket from there. I roamed around, and by the time I decided to leave it was 4:00pm and I was very hungry. So I decided to call Gabe (My friend who lives in LA) to see if he'd be down to grab some food.

Call:

A:Ava G:Gabe

A:Hey Gabe

G:Hey Ava, it's been some time since we talked!

A:I know right! I was wondering if you wanted to meet me for lunch today

G:Right now?

A:Yeah

G:You moved to LA recently right?

A:Yesterday, actually

G:Lets meet up, sorry I couldn't show you around today

A: It's okay, is In-N-Out fine?

G:Yeah, see you in 20!

A:See ya! Bye

I then walked out of the mall, put my bags in the trunk, and headed to In-N-Out. I was close to In-N-Out since the mall is literally 5 minutes away from In-N-Out. I got there early and I walked in and guess who I saw?!? I saw a guy with a pineapple tattoo on his neck! He was with this other guy Sawyer, which is his brother! I couldn't believe it! I realized I was standing frozen and Ricco looked at me, and he just stared until I moved. I blushed, and sat down at a table on the right of his. Gabe walked in, and I hugged him and we ordered and came and sat back down. Ricco came over, and said "Aren't you the new girl that is blowing up on Musical.ly?" I blushed and said "Yeah...that's me." He said "What's your name?" I said "Ava". "Beautiful name"Ricco said. He said "my name is-" I told him "I know your name is Ricco". I got up and told him I had been watching all his videos on his channel, and he said he had been watching my Musical.lys. He gave me a hug and then asked if I had just moved to LA. I told him that I had only moved in yesterday. He said "I moved here 4 months ago". Sawyer came and cleared his throat, and Ricco introduced me to Sawyer and I introduced Gabe to Ricco and Sawyer. Gabe and Sawyer started talking. Ricco asked for my number and said "We should hang out sometime". I said"That would be great". We finished eating and we hugged and said bye and I was on my way.

Ricco's POV

Omg,she is so damn hot. I can't believe I got her number. SCORE! I really want to hangout with her tomorrow and get to know her better. She looked so cute in her outfit today. I think I am gonna text her tonight.

I got home and chilled, watched some T.V, I made chicken Parmesan for dinner and then I changed into my PJs and took off my makeup off, put my hair into a messy bun and climbed into my bed. I got my laptop, and put my phone on charge and put my phone on my stand. I turned on my laptop and watched Quantico on Netflix. I then got a text and it was from Ricco:

R:Ricco A:Ava

R:Hey baby girl

A:Oh Hey Ricco!

R:I just wanted to ask if you wanted to hang out tomorrow? Hit the mall?

A:That would be awesome!

R:I needed to tell you that I can't get you off my mind, and I think your so attractive

A:Thanks, and tbh I feel the same about you

R: I can't wait to see you tomorrow

A:Me too

R:Good Night babycakes

A: Good Night Ricco

I realized that I think I might've found my first love, it felt so nice when he called me baby girl. I fell asleep thinking of Ricco, and just thinking that it would be the best first Friday moving in to my new apartment ever!
