I'm So Punny

It was just another chaotic spring day in the Bangtan house. Their relatives were coming over for dinner that evening, so Mama Jin was busier than usual.

"Yoongi!" Jin shouted. "I need you to run and get me some jams and coffee!"

Silence.

"Answer me!" Jin yelled again. He poked his head into the living room, looking for his son. He found Yoongi sitting, listening to music on his phone.

"Yoongi, could you turn off your phone?"

"NO, mom. My favorite band just came out with a new album, and I heard it's dope! I have to listen to it now."

"Jimin, could you go to the supermarket for me? Since your brother's oh so busy. And while you're at it, check if Jungkook's awake yet."

"Sorry, not today. I'm working on a school project."

Busy with a school project, what a lie. He's probably just staring at his reflection in the mirror.

"Well, I guess Hoseok and Taehyung can go." Jin said, running out of kids to send to the store. "Remember kids, stay together! You never walk alone. I only need jams and coffee!"

A few minutes later, Dad Namjoon came through the front door, greeted by Jin immediately asking for help.

"Namjoon, honey, come help me set the table! Set out silver spoons for all of us."

Not such a good idea, since of course he ended up breaking about half of Jin's expensive silverware.

"Ugh, my good stuff is always in danger around you!" Jin said. Someone save me from all this work I have to do, he thought.

Right on cue, the doorbell rang. It was their relatives. "Welcome, everyone!" said Mama Jin with a sigh of relief. "I'm nearly done cooking. I hope you like the meal, I really put all my blood, sweat and tears into it for you."

At the very least, the Bangtans enjoyed their family meal and Mama Jin's stressful day came to a happy end.
