We Will Always Be Something Special! -A Colby Fanfic- (Completed)

Chapter 4- The picnic

Recapio:  "We knew each other since we were 15!" I explained. Sam then just smiled and so did Colby. There was a dead silence until I began to laugh and everyone else started to also.

   "So how are your parents?" Kat asked me. "Well...they moved away like a year ago, two months after I turned 18.." I told here looking down. "And I haven't heard from them since" I finished. "Oh I shouldn't have asked" She said with sympathy.

   "No! I really don't give a crap!" I reassured with a fake smile. "Hey how about we go for a picnic at the park near here to lighten the mood!" Sam suggested. "That would be fun!" Kat and me said at the same time.

   We looked at each other smiling and began to laugh. "Let me get ready at my place!" I said walking to the front door. "Can I come with you?" Kat asked.

  "I don't care..just warn you though its a mess!" I warned Kat. "I'm used to it! I mean I do come over here!" She said smiling looking at the boy's. They rolled there eyes.

   "All right we'll meet you boys in the lobby okay?" I said walking out the door with Kat behind me. "Okay!" They yelled before I closed the door.

   As me and Kat were walking down the creepy hall a smile creeper on my face. "Sooooooo" I said prolonging the o. "You and Sam eh?!" I said looking at Kat as we stopped at my door. "Shut up" She said looking away wit a faint blush on her cheeks.

   That is when I should have seen the comeback. "You know who is a really cute guy for you?" Kat asked while I walked into my living room after unlocking my door. "Who?" I asked going into the kitchen to grab something for the picnic.

   "Colby~" She said teasingly. "Shut the hell up Kat" I said walking out of the kitchen with a cheesecake. "Ooo this kind is sweet!" Kat said looking at it whenever I placed it down on the coffee table.

   "Yeah it is actully" I said walking into my room to put a comfortable T-shirt and some leggings. "You know who is also sweet?" Kat asked walking into my room smiling. "Colby~".

   I looked at her with an evil eye while my face began to heat up. She smiled and quickly ran out to go hide somewhere. I hurried up and put the close on and went to find her. The first place I looked was my bathroom and sure enough that would be the first place she would hide. She was behind the door. So when I closed it I began to tickle her. "Nooo!!!! Nacy! Noo!! Stop!!" Kat said in between her laughing.

  After a few minutes of that Kat and I left to the lobby. We walked down the creepy hall passing by Colby's and Sam's room. We then got into the silver elevator and pushed the button that had a white number 1 on it.

   When the elevator opened we walked into the lobby to find Sam and Colby sitting on the lobby couch that faced the door waiting for us. I looked at Kat and smiled, she looked at me and nodded also smiling. We snuck up behind them and hid behind the couch listening on there conversation.  

   "So Sam how are you and Kat?" Colby asked Sam. "Pretty good!" Sam said happily. I looked back at Kat and mouthed 1..2..3! We popped out from behind the couch and scared the boys.

   "What the fuck!!!" Colby said on the floor and Sam right next to him with the face like he just got told there was a spider on him. Kat and me began to laugh.

    "Alright let's go" I said after me and Kat helped them get up. "We are so going to get you back" Sam said almost mumbling. "I'd like to see you try.." Kat said smiling.

  When we finally reached the park I realized I forgot the cheesecake. "God damn it" I said pretty much mumbling. "What's wrong?" Colby asked. "I forgot the cheesecake" I told him. "I'll be right back I need to go get it" I said starting to walk away.

   I then felt a hand grab mine and I quickly seen a smiling Colby right in front of me. "Can I keep you company?" He asked still holding my hand. "Umm sure" I said. We then began to walk away, Colby and I were still holding hands.

  Our fingers were intertwined together. My face felt really warm. 'Do I like him?' The thought crossed my mind. 'No! I mean I think I do but he most likely has a girlfriend' That thought crossed my mind the most. I might as well ask him when we get into my apartment.

   After going through the lobby, elevator, and creepy hallway we finally reached my apartment. I unlocked the door and went inside. Colby followed right after. I quickly grabbed the cheesecake, when I turned around Colby was 4 inches away from my face. "Um h-hi" I stuttered. Luck for me it was normal for me to stutter sometimes.

   He then began to lean in closer as I did the same. We were now an inch apart it seems like. He then put his hand on that back of my head and gently pushed his lips against my. After a few seconds of shock I began to kiss back. I felt this weird feeling, like it was butterflies in my stomach.

  After 8 minutes of that kiss we pulled away for air with a string of siliva breaking from us pulling away. "I-Im sorry...I didn't mean to.." Colby said slipping up on his words. "I-Its fine" I told him.
