2006

"Promise me you won't do anything stupid when I am gone," Keith said while kneeling down to meet up to my eye level. He wore a black hoodie that said "Gap" on it.

I just smiled. "Like jump in the pool after eating?"

He laughed at my comment. I was only 8 years old I didn't know any better. Keith stood up, "Don't do that either." he pointed at me playfully. Keith was so tall for 14 years old, I mean . I was short, but only for my age. Keith stood tall enough to reach the top of my ceiling fan. Okay, he wasn't that tall, but he was for me.

All of sudden, a horn blow at him, Keith, looked backed and wave. The window rolled down and soon enough, it was his mom, she was the prettiest women I saw, he hair was black, and shiny, and was properly curled. And naturally glowing skin, which I can see where Keith gets it from.

"Alright, so do you remember what I said?" Keith questioned, while laying his hand on my shoulder. "Nope !" I said while laughing he patted my flat iron light brown hair. "Don't worry it'll come back." He hugged my goodbye, then disappeared into the black 2006 Audi. His mom rolling down the window. "Bye, Lauryn, sweetie!"

I waved back.

"Bye Lauryn !", Keith shouted happily.

The black car drove off, leaving but nothing but debris from the ground following it tracks.

Just like that, Keith was gone.

While not gone, like missing gone, but gone from my life, and the little boy who I grew to like and look up to, was never heard from again. But now you can find him all over social media, him talking to his fans, saying he loves them and thanks them for supporting him.

I found out that Keith was now actor after hearing from what my auntie has told me. I was really upset and mad about the whole thing, here he is on TV, and still can't call or check up on me to see if everything is alright.

And I thought every since he left, maybe that's what he was striving for, to be a successful actor, to have the money, to have the fans, to have a better life than out here in Sacramento. Or, maybe his fame got in the way of things and just forgot about me.

Hey, guys, I am little rusty at writing this as you can see, but trust me things will be on track and I'll get better, so please stay tune. And tell me what you think.
