Valentine's Day Dream Part: 3.9

Yume POV

As we're standing on stage after our performance, I can't help but to wave at the audience. I give them a big smile.

When we're in backstage, me and Subaru find out the next and final round is a 1 vs 1.

"Ne Subaru~Kun?"
"Nani?"
"Which one of us will go to the next round."
"I think you should. You started this compitition and it should be you who ends it. What I'm trying to say is you're the only one from your orginal group who came to the final round. So it should be you."
I stare at him. For some odd reason I'm shocked by what he said. But nevertheless I tell the manger that I'll be going next.

"So it's me and you facing off Yume~Chan!"
I turn around and see Honoka.
"Yup! Good luck Honoka~Chan!"
"You too!"

After a few minutes we find out Honoka is going first. And I'm going last. I decided to sing Start Line. While Honoka~Chan is singing a song called Start Dash.

Honoka~Chan is standing up on stage her back facing towards the audience.

(After a certain point it starts repeating the song.)

I stare at her in amazement. Even though she did it all by her self.....it was still amazing.

"Nijino! You're up!"
"Huh? R-right!"

I'm about to walk away when all of a sudden somebody grabs my hand.
"Yume~Chan...."
I know in and instinct that it's Subaru.
I feel his arms move I don't know what he did when it hits me.

He's hugging me from behind!

I feel my face heat up when he whispers.
"Do your best..."
I mutter thank you quietly but loud enough that he can hear me. I place my hand on his. But then I remember my performance and walk away.

I stand on stage getting ready for my performance.

I hear the crowds cheer loudly. I stay on stage as Honoka walks out along with the manger.

"And the winner is........."

Up to you guys to decide! That's right I will have a 24 hour vote for who y'all think sounded better. You can only vote once, and you have to be completely honest. There won't be a new chapter tomorrow since I'll be writing it tomorrow. So the next and final chapter to the Valentine's Day ark will end on Valentine's Day!
