she's always on my mind

i wish i could tell her that.

she's probably asleep now.

all i can do is stare at the stars

and sigh

because she's more beautiful

than all of them combined.

whenever she calls i feel a pain

deep in my chest.

my voicemail box is full

filled with her voice and tears.

i want to take away her pain

but i'm hurting too.

and life isn't easy without her in it.
