why is it so hard for me to stay?

to just...stay.

i figure it changed ever since alexa left

and that's when my skin began to feel

so lifeless.

but she changed it all,

and made me feel

like my heart was beating again.

i dreamt

of her face last night

and imagined that she held my hand

as we watched the stars

and she told me she loved me

all over again.

and this time i could stay.
