The Meeting

Weiss POV

I was in my room working when my big sister Winter came in and told me she was gonna practice glyphs and dust using and asked if I wanted to come, I said yes and we walked outside and got on an airship.

"Winter where are we going, don't you usually practice in the fighting room?"

"Yes we do, but I want to practice some place different where it's more open"

I sat down and Winter went to Ironwood to tell him where to go. She came back and sat down next to me. After we landed I asked Winter where we were.

"Winter where are we?"

"Patch, a little peaceful island of the coast of Vale"

"Oh are you gonna practice there?"

"Yes they have a forest that has some open spaces we can practice in"

After we landed we walked to the forest I was walking and I heard some voices, both sounded like girls I ignored them and continued walking. When I heard a voice that sounded like a kid I looked and saw a girl hidden behind a rock, then I heard a voice that said.

"Ruby I'm coming to find you"

I assumed they were playing a game, and continued following winter. When I found a spot we stopped and I sat down.

Summer's POV

We started walking when I heard barking. I turned around to find Zwei running towards us.

"Zwei? What are you doing here?"

:Bark:

"HEY ZWEI WHERE ARE YOU?"

Huh was that Taiyang I heard just now?, I looked where Zwei had just come from and saw Taiyang.

"Hey Tai over here"

"There you are Summer, I brought some lunch."

"Ok let's go find a spot to eat.

"YAY FOOD!!"

"Hehe yes Ruby food"

We started walking looking for a spot and while we were walking Ruby started chasing Zwei around.

"Ruby don't go too far"

Winters POV

I was practicing my glyphs while having my little sister Weiss watching. I looked at her and she seemed to be a bit bored.

"Hey Winter?"

"Yes Weiss?"

"Why did you come out here to practice?"

"Well I just wanted to see some some place different, it get's boring practicing in the same place"

"Oh ok"

After some time I heard a dog barking which made me jump a bit. It was probably just some people taking their dog for a walk, then I heard a voice which sounded like a kid. I looked around to see a dog and a little girl chasing it.

"Zewi come back!"

The girl seemed to be trying to get the dog to stop running. Then I saw two other people come running after her to.

"Ruby, Zwei come back"

I watched for a bit then looked over at Weiss who was also watching and seemed to be distracted.

"Weiss are you ok?"

"Huh oh i'm fine I was just watching those people chase the dog.

"Well I think i'm done practicing, so we're gonna leave soon.

"Soon? Do you have something else to do?"

"No I just want to relax a bit"

"Oh ok"

Ruby's POV

We had caught up to Zwei and Dad handed Mom the food.

"Well looks like I have to go."

"Huh but why Dad don't you want to eat with us?"

"Yes, but it took a while to catch Zwei and I have to do some stuff at home."

"Oh ok bye Dad"

"Bye Ruby, bye Summer."

He hugged us and went back towards home, but Zwei stayed with us.

"Mom, Let's go look for somewhere to eat."

"Ok Ruby let's go."

We were walking when Zwei stopped and started running in a different direction, I tried to call him but he wouldn't listen, then I saw two people in the direction he was heading.

"Mom!, Zwei is running after two people"

"Ok let me get him"

Mom ran and eventually caught him, she was fast and could almost catch up to anything she was after. I ran and to catch up with them.

Summer's POV

I ran and finally got Zwei, just as he was close to the two people.

"Zwei don't run off like that."

"Huh who are you?" said the older white haired girl.

"Oh Sorry about that my dog ran off, oh and my name is...."

"MOM!"

I turned around to see Ruby running at me, I opened my arms and hugged her.

"Sorry I left you behind, I guess I ran fast."

"It ok Mom, you needed to get Zwei."

I saw Ruby look at the two girls and saw a confused look on her face.

"Umm what are your names?"

"Hello, my name is Winter Schnee and this is my younger sister Weiss."

"Hello" said Weiss.

"Winter is a season, so is mine"

"Huh it is what is it?"

"It's Summer, Summer Rose and this little girl is my daughter Ruby."

"Mom?"

"Yes Ruby?"

"I'm hungry!"

"Oh right let's just eat here, Winter would you and your sister like to join us?"

"Huh Is it alright with you?"

'Yeah it's ok, my husband usually makes extra food for us."

"Well alright we will join you."

"YAY FOOD!!, Shouted Ruby."

While we were eating I was with Winter, and Ruby seemed to be having fun with Weiss it makes me happy when I see Ruby having fun and making a new friend.

"You ok?" said Winter.

"Huh oh i'm fine it makes me happy to see Ruby having a new friend. There aren't many people that live on this island that play with Ruby, and she has only really been playing with her sister."

"Sister? Who is Ruby's sister?"

"She is at home right now, but her name is Yang, she is 8 years old, 2 years older than Ruby"

"Weiss is also 8 years old, we also have a little brother", said Winter looking at her scroll to see the time. "Oh I'm afraid we'll have to get going now, bye."

"Bye"

Winter walked to Weiss and told her they had to go, then they started walking off. I packed up our stuff.
