Going Out

The Next Day

Weiss's POV

I woke up, grabbed a pair of clothes and headed for the shower. Once I was done I went and woke up Ruby. Once she got up she went to the shower, While Ruby got a shower I ate breakfast. Ruby got done and came to eat breakfast. After a little bit I we went to the city to go shopping. Sometime later we were walking when Ruby stopped at a flower shop, I followed her in and she asked the clerk where the roses where. When she bought the rose I asked her why she bought it.

"Hey Ruby what is the rose for?"

Once I asked her smile turned to a frown

"My Mom"

"Oh"

We stopped at one more shop before we left. On the way back Ruby said she wanted to go somewhere so I said ok and we stopped at the dock and we got on a boat.

"Where are we going?"
"To Patch, my home"

"Oh how long will it take to get there?"

"A few hours"

"Ok"

The entire boat ride Ruby looked sad. It seemed a bit odd, Ruby was always happy, but I don't know if I wanted to ask why she's sad. When we got off the boat we were walking towards a little town, and while we were walking this area felt familiar. After a little we went to a house that was farther out in the forest. Ruby knocked and a person answered, Ruby and the person hugged and we were let in.

"Weiss this is my my home and this person is my Dad," she said while pointing at him.

"Hello! The name is Taiyang"

"Hi, my name is Weiss."

"Dad, we're gonna go out for a little. I justed wanted to stop by first;"

"Ok, come back later I'm making dinner!"

"We will, bye Dad."

We were walking out in the forest, I didn't know where we were going, but Ruby knew where we were going so I kept following her. We were walking for while then we stopped in a clearing. I looked ahead to see a gravestone, and Ruby walking towards it and placing the rose she bought in front of it. I walked up to her and read the gravestone, it read "Summer Rose, Thus kindly I scatter". For some reason this whole place was familiar but I didn't remember any place like this, but I decided to think about it right now.

"Ruby is this you Mother's grave?"

"Yes.."

"Oh i'm sorry."

"It's ok."

We sat there for a while, and noticed it had gotten dark. We got up and walked back to Ruby's house. Once inside we ate and went to bed after a while.
