In The Forest

Later that night

Weiss's POV

I woke up to some noise, and decided to see what the noise is. I walked out of the room to hear a door closing, so I walked downstairs and opened the front door to see Ruby walking near the forest, she stopped in a spot away from the house.

Ruby's POV

I was outside near the forest so I could sing one of the songs my Mom sang to me when I was little.

I couldn't take it couldn't stand another minute

couldn't bear another day without you in it

all of the joy that I had known for my life

was stripped away from me the minute that you died

to have you in my life was all I ever wanted

but now without you I'm a soul forever haunted

can't help but feel that I had taken you for granted

no way in hell that I can ever comprehend this

I wasn't dreaming when they told me you were gone

I was wide awake and feeling that they had to be wrong

how could you leave me when you swore that you would stay

now i'm trapped inside a nightmare every single fucking day

Weiss POV

I stood there shocked that Ruby could sing this good, and how sad this song was. Still listening I started feeling sad for Ruby.

Ruby Singing

it's like a movie but there's not a happy ending

every scene fades black and there's no pretending

this little fairy tale doesn't seem to end well

there's no knight in shining armor who will wake me from the spell

I know you didn't plan this

you tried to do what's right

but in the middle of this madness

i'm the one you left to win this fight

red like roses

fills my head with dreams and finds me

always closer

to the emptiness and sadness

that has come to take the place of you

I got done singing and started cying.

Weiss POV

After she was done I saw her start crying, I felt bad for Ruby so I came out and quietly walked up to her and hugged her. I felt her jump a little, and she hugged me back still crying.

"Ruby are you ok?"

"I'm fine just sad and kinda happy."

"I heard you singing"

"You did!?"

"Yes, it was beautiful."

"Thank you, it was a song my Mom sang to me. I didn't understand it was a sad song when I was little, but I do now."

"Your Mom must of been a great singer then!"

"She was, and was the best Mother."

We sat there talking to each other and I started getting

Cold, Ruby must of noticed and put her cloak around us and we sat next to each other cuddled up to each other. After a while I feel asleep.

Ruby's POV

I was with Weiss outside, I had noticed she was getting cold so I put my cloak around her and she moved closer to me, leaning against me. After sometime she fell asleep so I picked her up and decided to bring her up to my room cause she seemed comfortable using my cloak and laid her down on the bed and laid down next to her then covered both of us with the cloak and I fell asleep.
