I groan as I hear a loud knock on my bedroom door. Seriously, it's 7:00am?

"Come in," I sigh and pull the sheets up over my naked body.

"Ah, hi, Kristen," Calum says awkwardly.

"Calum? Why are you here?" I stutter as I scramble for clothes around the floor.

"I was just wondering if I could use your shower, your mums using the one downstairs," he laughs.

"Why can't you just use your own?" I ask nervously.

"I'm staying here for a while, my parents have gone away..." He says quietly. Calum Hood is staying in my house. For how long? Who knows. I cover my mouth with my hand, trying to hold back my screams.

"Go ahead, but don't touch any of my stuff or I'll kill you," I say. Calum nods and silently walks into the bathroom. I'm still not ok with this.

I quickly pulled a shirt over my head as I see Calum walk out of the bathroom.

"I was thinking, since we're going to be seeing a lot of eachother, maybe we should get to know a bit about one other.." Calum stutters.

"Ok?" I answer and sit up in my bed. The last thing I want to do right now is sit here and have a discussion with Calum, but looks like there's no escaping this one.

"So ah, did you dye your hair?" Calum asks nervously as he sits down on the end of my bed.

"Mm, a few years ago!" I laughs.

"Oh," he smiles and fiddles with his fingers.

"Who's your best friend?" I asks. Calum lookes at me then back down to his hands.

"Don't have one," he shrugs.

"Oh shut up, you're Calum Hood, Mr Popular? Does that ring a bell?" I tease.

"I've got no real friends, they all just use me so they can become popular," he answers. Neither of us say anything for a few minutes, until Calum decides to speak up. "So who's your best friend?" He asks

"Adam," I reply.

"Have you had sex yet..." He giggles.

"Calum? What the hell? For starters he's my best friend and he's gay! What is wrong with you?" I snap.

"Calm down, I'm just teasing," Calum sighs.

"I really don't want to be doing this right now," I mutter.

"What do you mean?" He asks, his eyes bright with hope.

"I just don't want to be talking to anyone right now," I say just above a whisper. Calum looks down and fiddles with his fingers. "I'm sorry," I sighs.

"No, it's okay. I should have guessed," he says.

"Calum it's just that-," I argue as he stands from my bed.

"What? What are you going to say Kristen, I gave you the opportunity to try and clear things up between us but of course you just brush it off," he laughs.

"I didn't mean it like that," I lie.

"Mm, of course," he sighs and stomps down the corridor.
