It was just past lunch time and Calum wasn't up yet, so I decided to go knock on his door. I heard a mumble and slowly opened the door, trying to be as quiet as possible.
"Hey, sleepy head," I whispered and sat down on the end of his bed. He looked up into my eyes.
"What a perfect way to wake up," he smiled. I brushed my fingers through my hair and tried to fight back the huge smile forming on my face.
"Was just checking to see if you were awake," I grinned and stood up.
"Please, stay," he whispered and grabbed hold of my wrist. I looked down into his eyes. He looked so precious. I sat back down on the bed and squeezed his hand.
"Why are you up so late?" I asked.
"I can't sleep at your house," he sighed.
"Oh, sorry. You'll be back in your own house shortly," I said.
"I don't think that's going to help me out at all," he said quietly and shook his head.
"That doesn't make sense," I laughed.
"I can't sleep because-" he paused. I nodded for him to continue. "Because every morning I wake up knowing there's this beautiful girl just seconds away, and I can't call her mine."
It was late in the afternoon, I was sitting with Adam at the park, talking about something I was unsure of. I had stopped listening a few minutes ago, I couldn't work out my feelings for Calum. One minute I think I like him, the next I loathe him.
"Kris? Are you even listening to me?" Adam asked, waving his hand in front of my face. I blushed and tried to think of an excuse. "Well, to sum up what I just said, I've found myself a guy," he smiled and grabbed my hands. A huge wave of excitement flowed through my body.
"Are you serious?!" I shrieked and pulled him in for a hug.
"Yeah, it's kind of a shock for you and all, but I'm hoping you'll get to meet him soon," he grinned.
"I'm excited as hell!" I laughed and nudged his arm. Adam picked up his bag and slung it over his shoulder.
"Good, now I have to leave you I'm afraid madam, but how about I walk you home?" He asked. I held onto his hand as we walked down the street, laughing whenever he tripped over his own feet. As we walked up to my door, I covered my mouth with my hands.
"Did you forget something?" Adam asked.
"When can I meet him Ad, please let me meet him!" I giggled. Adam rolled his eyes and put his arm around me.
"You better be free tomorrow cause I'm bringing him round," Adam smirked as he walked down the driveway.
I opened the door and saw Calum spread out across the couch, watching a movie I was unsure of.
"Hey," I sighed as I plonked myself down on a chair.
"Big day?" He asked and sat up to face me.
"A good one," I smiled and fiddled with my fingers nervously.
"Oh, were you with Adam?" He asked quietly.
"Yeah, he's found himself a boyfriend," I answered. Calum switched off the TV and sat up straight like a desperate puppy.
"So he is gay!" He smiled and held his face in his hands. I rolled my eyes and laughed at his attempt to be cute.
"I think if anyone's gay here, it's you honey," I smirked and walked into the kitchen. Calum followed me and crossed his arms.
