I'm Back - Kagami Taiga

Normal POV

Lost in your thoughts, you wondered when this friend-enemy of yours will come back, Kagami Taiga. This 7 years have never made you stop loving him. Psh, true love.

Flashback

"Shortie shortie, come here!" Taiga said.

"Don't call me shortie, fat-ass!" You shouted back, "Wha- Fat-ass?? I am no fat-ass!" Taiga retorted back. You two ran around trying to catch each other.

Oh how wonderful being children were.

Present time~
Your POV

Rringgg~~

The sound of the bell interrupted my thoughts. *sighs* The end of the day. Not long after, I heard my best friend call my name, "(y/n)! Come on, let's go to the basketball court! To hunt for good-looking guys!"

"Yes yes, okayy, you go first, I'll be right there in a few minutes!" I said. Quickly I put my things inside my bag and zipped it up, 'I should hurry, dont want her to snap at me Haha'

-- At the basketball court

Having not found anything interesting, I played with my phone, losing interest in the basketball game those boys are playing.

"(y/n) (y/n)! Look at that guy, isn't he lyk so cool? And omg those red hair, and those eyebrows!!" My best friend said. *sighs*
"Yes yes I know, you've been saying that for the nth time, and I-"
She cut me off, "But you didn't even take a peek at him, he seems like your type, really."

"Really," She poked me at the sides and made me turn my head at his direction.

Normal POV

You turned your head and saw a familiar red-headed idiot, who looked like Kagami. You blinked your eyes rapidly and thoughts ran in your mind.

'What the, is it really him?'
'Omg how can he be here??'
'Isn't he in America???'

However, once he turned his head and laughed, you were sure that it is him. The one you missed so much, who you yearned for, Kagami Taiga.

You immediately ran over to the court and grabbed his hand and spun him around while saying, "Taiga, is that you?"

Kagami, being shocked, can only widen his eyes while staring at your black orbs. At first, he didn't show any reaction. However, a smile gradually crept up on his face, saying, "(y/n) Is that you? Y-you've changed so much.."

"It really is you, Taiga.." You said tearfully, "You don't know how much I missed you all these years.. I thought we will never meet agan.. Is this a dream or-" Kagami cur you off,

"No, it's not a dream, it's me, I'm back, (y/n).."

True love is fate, and fate will never let true love go to waste.
