Love before Goodbye - Midorima Shintaro -

Normal POV

It was a usual day at Shutoku High. Your name is (l/n)(y/n). You had a cheerful personality and you were extremely hard-headed. You never give in, not to anyone. You were seating next to Midorima Shintaro. The teacher gave you a project to make essay about animals with the person next to you. Meaning, you must work together with Midorima.

After the class ended, you went home. It was the last period for today. You aporoached Midorima and said, " Oi, Midorima, tonight, at 6 P.M sharp, go to my house. We will do the project."

He replied, " Why must it be at your house?! Nanodayo!" You shouted," Just shut up and do what I said!!"

After arguing for a good 40 minutes with Midorima, it is decided that he will go to your house. You then went home. Being the hard-headed person you were, you did not want to lose in an argument.

That's exactly why Midorima fall for you..

Midorima POV

*sigh* Can't believe it.. I lost an argument..again

Then, Takao appeared out of nowhere and said, " Shin-chan! What are you thinking about~?"

Normal POV

Midorima was shocked and he stuttered, " What?! I-it's not like I'm thinking about (l/n) nanodayo!!"

Takao sighed and said, "Shin-chan, you really should man up and confess to her.." Midorima then blushed and said, " Wh-what are you talking about?!"

"Man up and confess to her!.. Ohh!! Practice!! Miyaji-san is gonna kill us if we're late!! Let's go, Shin-chan!!" Takao shrieked.

After practice ended..

Midorima went to your house. For the first time in forever, Midorima MISSED A SHOT at practice. He wasn't concentrated at practice.

Midorima arrived and then knocked at your door. Your mom opened it and gestured him to come inside. Your mom asked him to go upstairs by himself because she still has some cooking to do. Midorima then went upstairs and arrived in front of your room.

Meanwhile...

You were talking to your brother on the skype. Your big brother. You were really close with him. You liked to joke around with him. Then you said, " Nii-san, when are you coming back? Last time you came back is 2 years ago~, I really miss you.."

You also told him about Midorima, a boy who can't just get off of your mind. He said that you are in love!

After some time of talking, you decided to end the call when you heard someone knock on your door. You then bid him goodbye and said, " Come back soon! Bye!"

That night, you did the project as usual but you noticed Midorima is acting weird. It bothered you but you decided to shrug it off.

The next day..

You went to school as usual. Normal lessons and normal study. But then, you were called by your mom. You felt weird because your mom never called you if it is not very urgent.

You accepted the call, and then your mom said, "(y/n), we are going to go to America tomorrow. We are moving there with your brother. I'm sorry.. but this is your father's decision.."

You were stunned at her words. How can you bid farewell to your friends? How can you leave when you have found someone you love?

You just answered a 'Yes' to your mom. When the phone call ended, you then broke down to tears.

Unknown to you, Midorima was watching you. He heard your mom faintly. You then went home with a sullen expression.

At about 6 o'clock..

You heard knocking sounds on your front door. You decided to open it, to your surprise, you saw Midorima.

You then asked, " Why are you here?"

He said, " (l/n), I.. like you.. nanodayo"

You were stunned at his words. You never expected that someone you love will confess to you. But, you were afraid because tomorrow you are going to go to America and part with him. This is the best chance for you to confess your feelings too. But, you decided to say, " I.. I'm sorry, I didn't feel the same way.."

At that time, you were on the verge of crying. Your eyes were shiny and full of tears. It was just a matter of seconds before you cry.

Quickly, you turned back and shut the door. But, before you shut the door, you felt someone pull your wrist and embrace you in a backhug.

He said, "(l/n)..I know you feel the same way.. please say you love me.. please"

It's very unusual to see THE Midorima being like that. Before you said anything, Midorima said, "I know you are going to America tomorrow, so I decided to confess now. So, say you love me? Nanodayo"

You were already crying now. You nodded your head. He then spinned you around and said, " Please be my girlfriend, (l/n)"

You nodded again and tiptoed to kiss him. You then pulled back. Then, Midorima said he must leave now.

He then walked away. But after a few seconds, he walked back and said, " (l/n), this is your lucky item for today. Nanodayo. Keep it." He then mumbled a soft ' I love you'

He then walked away again. You chuckled at the cuteness of your boyfriend.

That night, you were happy. Even though you were leaving, but there's someone who will not forget about you and will love you.
