Kate's POI:

These past have been hectic with all the wedding preparations. Not even once I thought of my school. Tomorrow is the big day. My mom wants me to sing though I have been practicing secretly I am very nervous.
Sarah picked my dress which is royal blue and it's cleavage is showing a bit.
She wanted me to stand out in the crowd.

"Mom, I can't go walking around in the crowd. You know our identities are concealed in school."
"Don't you worry about it. It's mask themed. Everyone except bride and bridegroom's family are going to wear them. "
"But I'm bride's family FYI.. "
"Yeah but you can wear a mask so don't worry and bother me. Now go take your sister to the salon. You are already late for the appointment and you have to wake up early."

With that my mom left me with my sister and after coming from salon my sister went out for her little party her friends arranged.

I was dreaming about some blue eyes but then suddenly a voice came "girl, get up. It's your sister's wedding day and she's already fidgeting over everything. "

"What? " i asked grumpily.

"Your sister is feeling nervous go and help her and you also get ready quickly."

I talked to her about several things to distract her and make her feel better but none of this worked.

My dad came from his business trip and he was acting strange. He looked very tense and watching me as if I will explode any moment.

"Dad, What happened and why are you very tensed"

"Nothing but be careful we will talk everything after marriage. For now enjoy your sister's marriage." replied my dad.

My sister got ready and I was done with my makeup. I wore my mask and about to enter the hall. My mom called me.

"Kate, wait a second."

"Yes, mom what is it?"

"I would like you to meet Ian, John's(driver's) son."

I turned and saw Ian our school band leader. As soon as he saw me his eyes widened.

"Hi" i said slightly nervous.

"Oh my god you are "the Katherine", my dad says a lot about you."

"Mmm... Thank you but you know the rules you need to keep this a secret."

My mom looking confused "you two knew each other?"

"Yes mam we were both studying in the same school.: said Ian

"Oh good, Now listen to me Kate. You should be with him all the time till wedding ends." my mom said looking at me.

"What? Why mom what happened?"

"Later Kate. Just listen to me."

I had no choice and I nodded yes and put on our masks and entered the hall.

Ian was with me all the time and it was irritating.

"Ok Ian I know mom asked you to be with me but it's irritating. you were following me every where."

"Look Kate, I too don't know what happened even my father looked worried. So just forget that I am here and enjoy your sister's wedding and anyways I am not a complete stranger right? imagine this situation with a complete stranger."

I knew if this situation came up with a stranger it would have been disastrous.

Ian might have understood my uneasiness and didn't disturb me for rest of the wedding and the wedding was extraordinary. Everyone was congratulating newly wedded couple and my sister went on trip with her husband which my mom gave them as a wedding gift.

Everything went perfectly and Ian also left after sometime.

Then I asked "Mom you said we will talk later."

"Ok we will talk but first go and freshen up and come down."

I obeyed as I was tired and took shower and went down by the time I went my mom and dad are arguing something and stopped as they noticed me. I sat down and my dad said "Kate I am sorry for everything that is going to happen."

"Dad please don't make nervous and tell me what?"

"Darling you are going to be engaged with the Anderson boy."
