"Stop joking and tell me the real reason dad. It's not the right time for playing games" I asked nervously.

My dad looking seriously at me said "Am I looking like joking right now?"

I looked at my mom for confirmation and she looked damn serious. "Oh my god, this is real. You are telling the truth."

"Yes that's what I am telling." My dad said.

"You can't do this to me. No, I am not ready for marriage now let alone marrying an Anderson. No not happening."

Now my mom spoke softly "Kate, dear you think we want you marry now. No it's for your own good."

"Why, Why now?" I asked importantly.

"Business deal dear, If this happens both of our families will be benefited."

"For mere benefit should I put my life on line dad?" I asked furiously.

"Why are you so against the boy, you don't even know him."

"I don't have to know, he's an Anderson. Isn't that enough?"

"You don't know the entire story about the Anderson's Kate. But I cannot tell you. It's your sister's place." said my mom.

"Mom whatever it is, my family suffered a lot because of them and now I have to marry one."

"Kate, your sister will explain you everything after her vacation and you are going to meet him in your Christmas holidays."

"Mom,.." I started to say something.

"Kate, you know we were never the harsh parents and we always respected you and your sister's freedom. If we are asking you to do something that is definitely for your own good. Just try to understand." said my dad.

I calmed down now and I have another question now. "OK, but what is with all the bodyguard situation."

My dad looked nervous now and said "It's just so many people around that's it Kate."

I knew that he was hiding something but for now I let it rest because I was in no mood to argue. I was doomed ,I thought.

My holidays came to an end and I was feeling miserable. I don't want Christmas holidays to come. But for now I have to attend my school.

"Tomorrow I'm leaving for school" I thought.

From the night that my parents announced that I am going to marry the Anderson I barely left my room. As I was leaving the next day I thought I could visit the store near by and get some fresh air.

John drove me to the store and I asked him to wait for me in the car because I don't want any company now. I wanted to be alone.

While I was roaming in the store I saw Oliver. He was sitting in the cafe next to the store. Suddenly my spirits are lifted and I walked straight to him.

He saw me walking and he stood and hugged me so hard. I felt hot but remained unaffected.

"Kate, what are you doing here?"

"Just came to buy somethings for tomorrow. BTW what are you doing here all alone."

"Oh nothing just thinking about something."

"Do you have curfew at home?" asked Oliver.

"No there's nothing like that. My parents won't mind." I said.

I called my mom and said I'll be late and she agreed. He listened to my conversation with mom and seemed happy when she yes.

I turned to him and asked "So what are we doing now?"

"Wrong question, you should ask where are we going?"

"OK where are we going?"

"Come it's very near."

He dragged me to his car. It was my favorite car Audi. He saw my face and said "I know it's an amazing car just get in".

I knew that he thought I am not so rich but I liked it that way. He likes me for what i am not for some stupid business deals.

We went to the park near by but it's already closed.

"Oliver it's closed. "

"Yeah but the we can jump. Come let's go. " He didn't even give me chance to respond, the next thing I knew that we were jumping the wall.

"Careful, there you might break your legs. " he commented.

We successfully entered the park and we started playing in the sand. Suddenly he lifted me and threw me in the pool near by.

"Oh my what did you do? " i shouted in anger.

He was laughing so hard that he had tears in his eyes. I came out of water and pushed him into the pool. Now it was my turn to laugh. He got out of the pool and I started running. He was following me but he missed twice then suddenly he caught me.

We both stopped as it was difficult to breath and played in the kids place. After sometime I saw time it was almost 4 in the morning.

"It's almost 4. We need to go, we have to board the train by 6 pm and we definitely need sleep. " I said.

"OK come I'll drop you at your home. "

"No just leave me at the store" he nodded and he dropped me at the store almost at 5 I reached home forgetting about my marriage. That was the best sleep I had in ages.
