"What's up with you? Your face is all lit up and shit," Keisha said when I got back into the room.

She got on some red booty shorts, a white T-shirt and white sandals. She also got her yellow duffle bag and a pink mesh bookbag.

"Nothing," I simply said.

"You ready to go?"

"Of course."

We walked to the front door Keisha locked it as we exited. It's pitch dark outside the only thing that's visible is the pole lights and my porch light on at my house. We ran there keeping in mind it's almost midnight. I unlocked the door and we quickly entered and shut the door.

My mom's sitting on the couch watching one of the Tyler Perry Plays. "Y'all had fun?" My mom said looking up at me and Keisha standing at the door.

"Shanequa told you what happened?" I asked sitting next to her.

She slowly nodded her head.

"Hey Miss Anderson," Keisha said.

"Yeah hey," my mom said giving Keisha the cold shoulder.

Keisha pressed her lips together, walked pass us went into the room and closed the door.

"She said she heard y'all having "sex" through the wall which was disgusting but it was a helluva lot quicker than usual. And then she told me about the argument."

"Keisha stopped me while I was eating her for y'all information. There might be another girl in the picture."

"Melissa Perez. Don't you know her?"

"No I don't think so," I said confused.

"Yes you do her name is Melissa aka Mz.Candylicious remember?"

"Are you sure it's her?"

"Yeah cause I asked Shanequa what she looked like."

"I talked to her early yesterday morning and she told me she really needed to tell me something. It was something she found out."

"Maybe it's about Keisha."

"Could be."

"Did you talk to her about it?"

"No my phone got turned off before I got a chance to respond cause somebody didn't pay the bill right after I reminded them," I said sarcastically.

"See what had happened was..." my mom paused.

"I already know it's a lie. Anytime somebody say that I know its a lie."

"No I'm being serious. I was just doing other stuff and forgot."

"Mmhmm," I said with a smirk.

"Whatever. Just use my phone," my mom said like a white girl as she rolled her eyes.

"Where it at?" I asked looking around the room.

"It's over there," my mom pointed to her phone sitting on the night stand with the charger plugged into it.
