When I awoke again I felt a lot better still not knowing how long I had blacked out, but I can see. Melissa rubbed my cheek and smiled as she sat beside me. Her hand felt so smooth and warm on my face.
"I'm glad you're awake," she said.
"Me too," I said my voice hoarse.
I struggled to sit up being so weak. Melissa opened a warm bottle of water and gave it to me. I chugged the whole bottle down in maybe ten seconds.
"Do you need another bottle?" Melissa said looking at me like damn.
"No I'm okay."
"You sure?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Let's watch a movie," I said.
"Okay," Melissa said grabbing the Xfinity remote off the bed.
Melissa turned on some scary movie. She watched about half of it and fell asleep on my chest. I stayed up watching movie after movie.
