Garrus: Ok, Sera, Varric, Let's see you is the better shot.
The crew of the Normandy decided to get to the members of the Inquisition. Garrus took Varric, and Sera up to the wall where bull was attacked a while back.
Garrus: Ok, this is how this works.
He points to an Inquisition soldier to his left.
Garrus: that guy is gonna throw the bottle, in the air.
He then points to the sky In front of him
Garrus: and we are gonna shoot it.
Sera: sound easy enough.
Garrus: not exactly. These bottles have a scrap of paper in them. The goal is to hit the paper. If you don't, you're out.
Varric: I volunteer to go first.
He pulls out Bianca from his back, and the crossbows arm extend.
Garrus: alright.
He turns to the soldier. Whenever you and Varric are ready.
The soldier nods, and turns to Varric. he aims his crossbow in the air, looks to the soldier, and nods. The soldier nods back, and throws the bottle. Once the bottle is past the edge of the wall, Varric shoots. The bolt goes straight through the bottle, causing it to scatter. The arrow proceeds to go straight off into the air.
Sera: Sooooo, 'ow do we know if 'e hit the papa?
Garrus: You'd see a scrap of paper falling from the broken bottle.
Sera: Alright, my turn.
Sera draws her bow, aims an arrow in the sky, and nods at the soldier. The soldier throws the bottle in the air, Sera shoots, and hits the bottle. However, as the bottle scatters, a scrap of paper starts slowly falling from the sky. Sera was pissed.
Varric: "chuckles* looks like you're out.
Sera immediately draws another arrow while mumbling:
Sera: arse shiet mother flubbing piece of-
After a few arrows, she finally hits the scrap of paper. Satisfied, she turns to Varric, and bowed almost gracefully.
Varric: Can she do that, Scars?
Garrus: Well, not really-
Sera proceeds to grab another arrow. Garrus knew where this was going.
Garrus: BUT, she did hit the paper.
Sera let's go of the arrow, and smiles.
*scene change*
Dorian: You mean to tell us that you don't have magic where you come from?
Liara, Vivian, Dorian, Kaiden, and Losus gathered in Vivian's rest area. They were talking about the difference between Magic, and Biotics.
Kaiden: well... sort of.
Liara: we have what we call: Biotics. It's more scientific than magic.
Solus: In what way? We use the natural elements: Fire, Ice, Lightning, and so on. Do you not use these elements?
Kaiden: Biotics are acquired in one of two ways. You can either have it implanted, or get exposed to element Zero. But, it does have it's side effects when implanted With L2's, like I was.
Solus: Such as?
Kaiden: severe mental disabilities, insanity, crippling physical pain, the list goes on. But since mine was a success, I only get Migraines every now and then.
