James: I feel like Robin hood in the winter Olympics.
Kaiden: true. But you have to admit, it's kind-a cozy.
Shepard: ay-men to that, Major.
None of them could believe how snug and comfortable the armor was. It felt like they were wrapped in a cocoon that was made of silk.
James: think we can take one home with us? I mean, it's not like they'll miss one uniform...
Kaiden: what about two uniforms.
Shepard: I'll put in a request.
Inquisitor: you three will stand next to the to may, as well as one other person. Your friends are all safe in our... safe.
Shepard: Let's get on with this, then.
The four make there way to the main hall. Kaiden was about to enter last when to turns around to see multiple people wearing fancy clothes and masks. It is assumed that these are the Orlesians. He enters the main hall, and stands at the far end next to James, who was right next to the Inquisitor's throne. Shepard was on the exact opposite side of James.
The Orlesians enter, Gareth Le Parchment in front, followed by other two other war strategists, and six guards wielding spears, along with bows and arrows. They bow respectfully to the Inquisitor female elf.
Inquisitor: I received your letter, Gareth Le Parchment.
Gareth: then you no doubt have the artifacts ready?
Inquisitor: we did not recover any artifacts, nor find any evidence of this "Alliance" you mentioned in your letter.
Gareth: ...you are certain?
The Inquisitor nods.
Gareth: In that case, I apologize for the confusion, and we shall be on our way.
He respectfully bows, and walks out of the main hall with the others. Everyone in the room is confused as to how easy that that was. Shepard and the Inquisitor look to each other in confusion.
*scene Change*
Wrex: wonder what I could buy with all this?
Tali: I could buy my own ship with this much gold.
Grunt: I'd buy my own noodle shop so I could eat all the noodles I wanted.
Javik: I don't think that's how it works...
Garrus: I'd buy the most expensive weapons and mods on the citadel.
Liara: just because it's expensive, doesn't mean it's the best.
Garrus: not if you don't know what you want.
EDI: People say money is not the key to happiness, but I always figured if you had enough money, you can buy a key made.
The room is silent as everyone turns to EDI
EDI: that was a joke.
Suddenly, there are voices outside the safe. Everyone hears them as they lean their ear against the vault door.
*Outside the vault*
Guard: I'm going to have to ask you to leave, no one is allowed down here except the Inquisitor, and her followers.
Gareth: I apologize, but we seem to be missing one of our guards. We figured he might be down here, have you seen him?
Guard: no one has been down here except you nine. Again, please leave before you force my hand.
His hand was on the handle on his sword, ready to pull it from its sheath
Gareth: of course. We will be on our way.
Gareth turns around and walks three steps before stopping in his tracks.
Gareth: there is however, something I must tell you.
The guard raises an eyebrow as Gareth lunges, pulling a hidden dagger from his side. Gareth was too fast for the guard to react as Gareth dug the end of his blade Directly into the guard's stomach. The guard gasped for air, loosing blood, and choking on blood. Gareth leans into the Guard's ear and whispers.
Gareth: you are relieved of duty.
He pulls the dagger out as the guard falls to the ground dead.
Gareth: open the vault and grab as much as you can carry.
Two of the Orlesian guards start to turn the wheel that unlocks the vault.
*Inside the vault*
Garrus: I told you we shouldn't have left our weapons in the stables.
Liara: we need a plan, fast.
Javik: we run.
Liara: to where!?
Javik: to the wall. We will jump, and Liara and I wall catch all of you with our biotics.
EDI: if we go tight, there is a door that leads to the kitchen, and then to the courtyard.
Tali: get ready, their opening it.
The group of aliens stand in front of the vault, prepared to run a marathon if necessary. As the vault is half opened, one of the guards peeks through and is shocked with fear.
Orlesian: what is-
He didn't even finish as Liara uses her biotics to plunge the door open, Gareth and his followers flying.
Liara: GO GO GO
Wrex: sayonara suckers.
Wrex was the first one out. Followed by Garrus, Javik, Tali, EDI, Grunt, and Liara making sure everyone got out. Gareth slowly gets up and sees Liara take off with the others from where they entered.
Gareth: AFTER THEM!
Wrex busts through the door as the cooks scream in horror as Wrex is charging directly at one.
Wrex: move it or lose it!
The cook jumps over the table to her left as the aliens run out the door into the courtyard. Followed by the Orleans. The team makes their way up the stairs and onto the edge of the wall, everyone stops and notices how high they actually were, and are frightened.
Tali: we should jump off where the entrance to the castle is!
Garrus: you haven't seen how many people are down there.
Tali: at least it not as high as here.
Liara: just go.
An arrow wooshes past Javik's head as he and everyone else runs to the left. they enter a sma;; room that connectes the two sides of the wall. Liara slams the second door shut behind them. They all stand on the edge of the wall, finding the courage to jump.
Javik: on three.
Tali: one...
Garrus: two...
the door behind them busts open
Wrex: Three!
Jus are everyone jumps, an Orlean guard shoots an arrow at Liara's ankle. It goes straight through as she falls backwards back onto the wall while everyone else jumped. Blue blood was coming from Liara's ankle as she was on the ground in pain. She was about to use her biotics until she notices three of the Orleans had arrows trained on her. Gareth approaches and kneels down to Liara's level.
Gareth: the Inquisitor has some explaining to do, wouldn't you say...
