Cortez had received orders to pick up Shepard and his crew, and to have Dr. Chakwas on standby. While the team waa waiting, they said their goodbyes to their new friends.
Varric and Sera went back up the to wall with Garrus. But this time, they wanted to use Garrus's sniper rifle. Varric was first: he took the sniper, aimed down the sights, not looking for anything, and pulled the trigger. Varric was immediately pushed back, and the sniper falls off the edge. At first, Garrus was terrified of the possibility of the sniper breaking. then, Garrus slouches as he remembers how many stairs there were.
In the tavern, Grunt orders his last bowl of noodles, challenging James to a contest of who could heat the fastest. While Bull and Wrex are having one last head-budding contest. Bull wins.
Wrex: you would have made a fine Krogen, Bull.
Bull: Thanks. Before you go, I have a question: are there really thresher maws that breath fire?
Wrex: No, not really. It's just a kid's game. However, there is real fire involved.
Above them, on the third level, Cole and Tali say goodbye. Tali, as a saying of thanks, shows Cole what she really looks like under her mask. His exact words were "I didn't know it came off..."
Meanwhile, Liara, and Kaiden have a final chat with Solas, Vivienne, and Dorian about the differences/similarities between Magic and Biotics. In the end, they all agree that Biotics is magic from a more scientific point of view.
At the stables, Blackwall let's Javik ride one of the horses. Needless to say, Javik falls off the first five seconds after the horse takes off. Blackwall bursts into laughter, and Javik joins in soon after.
Near the sparring ring, Cassandra asks EDI what the most deadliest creature in the milky way is.
EDI: Kalros, the mother of all thresher maws, stands out as the most deadly. Her size is larger than the average reaper. Jeff says we could "win the war if we had a gun that shoots thresher maws". I believe that was one of his jokes.
In the war room, Shepard says his goodbyes to the Inquisitor, and her followers. The Inquisitor salutes as Shepard salutes back while Josephine, Lilian, and Cullen bow respectfully. Shepard then hands the Inquisitor his ear piece. The Inquisitor puts the ear piece in.
Shepard: if the Reapers come, press the button on the outside, and just talk.
She nods. Cortez lands the shuttle in the courtyard as Shepard and his team wait for him to open the door. Cortez opens it, and Shepard and his team enter. All the while Kaiden helped Liara walk. Cortez immediately takes notice when he turns around.
Cortez: something happen, commander?
Shepard: nothing to worry about, Cortez.
Cortez shrugs, and he orders the ship to take off. Everyone in the shuttle watched on the screen as all of Skyhold was watching. Soon, the shuttle was finally gone.
Solus: Ellosa, you are aware that we must again fight the dragon.
Inquisitor: I know, Solus
Solus: so what didn't you ask for help?
Inquisitor: because this is our fight, Solus. And we must finish it ourselves. And from what Shepard told me, he is about to finish his...
