Victim { Part 8 }

I smiled and nodded. I hugged my knees to my chest as I sat there with him.

"What you wanna do?" He asked. "Want to watch something on TV?" He asked

"I guess," I shrugged and sat in the chair. I hated how I was so distant from him, emotionally.

"Oh. Alright" he was a bit taken aback by how cold she sounded and sighed.

I sighed and put my head in my knees,"I made things worse, I should probably go."

"Don't go. I'll probably end up doing it again if you aren't here" he pleaded. "I need you"

I was taken back by his words but sighed as I knew he just wanted me there to stop him so he didn't ruin himself, that's all he cared about.

He started to wonder if he liked her like that and stared at her with a curious expression.

I felt his stare so I continued to hide in my knees,"Why are you staring at me?"

"S-sorry I just- no reason" he said and smiled a little to try and make her a bit happier.

"You just what? Thought about why you have this freak in your room," I sighed.

He frowned. "Why do you always put words into my mouth? I was thinking about why I like you so much but-" he stopped and looked away as he knew she probably didn't even want to look at him.

I cried into my knees as I thought he was just joking with me,"Don't joke around like that, please," I pleaded as a few months ago he told me no one would ever like me.

He sighed. "I'm not joking" he muttered and looked over at her. He sighed into his hands. "All I do is hurt people. Even when I try to be nice" he whispered to himself

I wiped my face and looked up at him. I went over to him and laid on top of him as I hugged him close.

He looked down at her, surprised she had a change of heart. He kissed her forehead gently. "You believe me now?"

I nodded and put my face into his neck,"Even though you bullied me, I've always kinda liked you."

He felt even more guilty, although he should have felt happy. He sighed. "Why did you like such a horrible person like me?" He said and rubbed her back

"Because you once weren't so horrible," I whispered as his friends had an influence on his behavior.

He sighed. "I wish they would just leave me alone" he said and laid his head on her chest.
