"OK, carry the two... And... Finish that... Alright. I think that should just about do it."

{So, explain to me what we're doing because I was lost when you started rambling excitedly.}
"Oh... Right, sorry. Anyway, the long and short of it is we're going to combine the Eyes of Judgement with the time Sacred Gear, but only the elements that aren't cursed. Get it?"
{I suppose, but what are you going to do with the cursed portion of it?}
"Simple."
I used my magic to teleport the cross from inside the church that was used to sap Asia of her Sacred Gear into the classroom.

"We're going to take it out."
{Hon? Isn't that a bit dangerous?}
"Are you kidding me? Of course it is, but even so, I'd jump off of a skyscraper for a Klondike Bar at this point."
{... Point taken.}
"Alright, is there anything I'm missing here before we go onto the first experiment of the combination process?"

{You'll need a catalyst?}
"A catalyst?"
{Well, the powers of the other Sacred Gear have to go somewhere in mine.}
"Hmm... How about my left eye?"
{Come again?}
"You said earlier that each Sacred Gear is eventually modified for a division of power. What if we split them as we're combining them?"
{I believe that may work. It will be difficult to pull off, and you may die.}
"This is 4001st life, Tetra. I don't think I care about dying anymore."
{I know, but...}
"I know you worry about me, but if we're ever going to have a chance at letting this world live on, we need to turn the curse into a blessing, and that means taking the useful powers out of the Sacred Gear and implementing it with yours."
{I hope you know what you're doing, honey.}
"More than you know, Tetra."
I opened my notebook and found the Magic Circle I wanted to find.
"It's weird how many of these fill the pages of this book."
{Well, you have learned a lot in your journey.}
"That is true. Are you ready?"
I heard her take a deep breath.

{Let's do this. I'll back you up the whole way.}
"Cool. Here we go."
I rose my hand up, summoning an ancient golden Magic Circle under me. I took a breath myself.

"On a count of three. One, two... three!"
I threw my hand down, letting a light burst from the Circle at it's perimeters and surround me. I saw the Eyes of Judgement and the Cursed Time Sacred Gear appear in the light.

"OK... Here we go... again."
I walked to them and started picking at the Cursed Time. I began to take away the parts that weren't shrouded in weird black vines and left them to linger by the Eyes. Once I got the non-cursed elements out of the Sacred Gear, I pushed the cursed elements out of the field, making them drop to the floor. I stared at it for a moment before looking to the pieces taken from Cursed Time. With the careful calculations I made, I knew exactly where to put the pieces of the Gear in the eye. I'll be honest, I was nervous enough to be sweating at this point. If I made one slip up, then I would die FOR GOOD, and so would Tetra. Since there were other lives on the line besides mine, I had to be as considerate and careful as possible. I heard nothing from the Nephilim who materialized as a spirit behind me as I took the last piece and began to move it to the hardest area to attach this to, the iris. I gulped down my nervousness and narrowed my eyes in concentration as I slowly and carefully maneuvered it to the iris. A bright silver light began to shine from the pupils as I placed it gently on the iris, then I shielded my eyes once I did so. The Magic Circle faded and I looked around. Nothing appeared to be out of place.

"Did it work?"
{...}
"Tetra?"
I looked around again.

{Nnngh... Ugh...}
"Tet! You OK?"
{I-I feel... a little lightheaded.}
"Must be a side effect. Just take a minute. It'll wear off soon."
{Was the process complete?}
"That's what I'm trying to figure out."

I looked to the board, seeing that all calculations were correct, and I remember pulling it off exactly as it states. I looked to the window, seeing my reflection in it. I walked to it and blinked.
