Chapter 16: Neito's Finale

"Kokabeil, you are the reason this world could not live on. Your twisted pleasure in war has made this world die and become reborn 4000 times. Doppelys... You're the first of your kind in centuries..."

I closed my eyes, then reopened them with my eyes flaming their respective colors.

"I'll make sure you're the last, and I'll also make sure you two don't leave here alive."

I spread my arms out, creating a giant Indigo Circle and a giant Metallic Circle.

"And lastly, I'll make sure the REAL Rias comes home to her family safely."

Doppelys shapeshifted into another person. This time, it was Asia.

"Then I hope you like to fight me while I look like this.~~~"

I narrowed my eyes, then put my hand forward, letting the Indigo Circle fly forward. Doppelys grinned maniacally and charged forward. I snapped my fingers, blasting her. She dodged it and flew up into the air. I sensed Kokabeil behind me and brought the Metallic Circle to my back, blocking his lance. I threw my other hand out and teleported the large Indigo Circle behind him. He flew out of the way before the thing could fire, and it went right into the Metallic Circle, dissipating on contact. Both of my opponents landed before me just a few meters away. Doppelys grinned and changed shape to Akeno as Kokabeil folded his wings around him and disappeared. She cackled as Kokabeil appeared behind me once again. I weaved quickly to the side, dodging a spear. He pulled back and I caught glimpse of a barreling yellow light coming towards me. I put the Circle in front of me, but I was too late. I yelled out in pain as I was shot back by a high voltage lightningball. I skidded across the ground, then backflipped and kept myself in the air. I snapped both fingers, changing the two Circles into pale Blue Circles. I threw my hands forward, firing icicle bullets from the two Magic Circles. Kokabeil and Doppelys took a direction and tried to slowly make their way to me. Doppelys' arm morphed into a sword and she deflected the bullets with it. She sliced the last icicle in half and the pieces clambered down next to her.

'Kiba's Sword Birth. That's a weird incarnation.'

'And that Rotten Boosted Gear is gonna give me trouble too if I can't land an attack on her to make her counter reset. Gotta do whatever I can to hit her before she hits Explosion.'

*SHINE*
I looked over to my right, seeing an Indigo Circle appearing.

"It's him!"
"Did he do it?"
Xenovia and Kiba ran out of it, panting.
"Xenovia?"
"Kiba?!"
Xenovia looked to me, then shot her eyes open widely.

"O-Ophis! Neito! He's... hah...!"
Kiba looked to his friends in the ORC.

"We've been tricked. The Rias we've been with was a fake. It's some sort of demon insect on Kokabeil's side. It's powerful, and it has all our powers."
"What?!"
"So where's Rias?"
"Captured. She's been captured since 2 weeks before Neito and Issei came to Kuoh."
"That doesn't matter now! Ophis! Neito told you to call in 'them', whatever that means. He says he can't defeat them on his own, and he'll need everyone to stop them both."
I evaporated the bag of popcorn and floated up, nodding.

"I, will return. You, must not proceed until I get back. Understood?"
They nodded and Asia looked at me with a pleading expression.
"Please, hurry."
I nodded and summoned a portal above me. I flew through it, leaving the area to go to the hideout mansion for the Vali Team.

*SLAM*
A large boulder summoned by a Bronze Circle slammed down onto the ground. Doppelys had escaped its reach before it fell and it broke apart on impact. I began to sweat at this point and I was breathing somewhat heavily. Doppelys was the same, though less tired than I was. I glanced out beyond the gym at the school, frowning.
