Justin's POV
"we move in here. Surround the south boarder with spikes Incase they try to leave and make sure non of ours drive through there. Walking only. Now. Who's ready to kick some ass?"
Selena's POV
It wasn't until after we had dealt with the person that killed Ari and headed back to our headquarters when it finally sunk in that I actually saw him.
I was in a state of shock emotionally wise. My body would do everything it was supposed to without me even thinking it. I still led the gang as cold as ever, but it was like I was an empty shell.
Finally after a good month of my mood switching Taylor stepped in and said she had enough. She made the realization set in.
Reality set in.
I shouldn't be thinking about him. Affected by him. Nor anything else.
Because,as Taylor always says, I'm the one who ended things in the first place ,so I couldn't complain.
After finally seeing the bigger picture Im back to normal. Well, some sort of definition of normal. I still haven't head back home not wanting to see Robert's face. Again.
Now I was just putting all my attention into the gang.
It was my sanctuary.
My home.
And I loved it.
"Are 7,9,and 2 ready to go?"
"Yes Boss. Everyone is situated and in the right positions waiting for the signal. " Taylor answers in a serious voice.
"Perfect" I said nodding my head at her. Putting my hand up I pull the gas mask back down my face having said all that I needed to say. Each one of my members that were on this mission had one.
We were wearing black military grade outfits. We were responding to a "help" call. Except they didn't know it yet.
"Red, Z , and Alta. Go. Now"
I see the three teams I called on rush into the elegant building through the security cameras that we had hacked into.
After they had got the money out halfway they "accidentally" let a young girl call for help.
Since my team had already hacked thought the security system the button that was usually under the counter where they could easily accessible it was disabled.
"please help. I'm in a bank. These people are robbing it. Help me"
After the girls 911 call gets through my team waits five minutes before entering. The real police don't even know about this seeing as how we interfered with her call.
"GO, GO, GO" I said through the built in mic. Putting my hand up I signal them to move in. All pulling down their mask and giving me a nod before passing.
Finally I run in closing the back door securely just in case.
Running down the hall I see my members in each room rummaging through the drawers and containers.
Reaching the center I see my team"arresting" my other half. Now for the grand finale.
"Who in here made the call?" I yell out. My team becomes quiet all waiting for a response.
My team's police uniforms must have actually worked because the girl gets up nervously and raises her hand. "I d-did" . Nodding my head I raise my gun and shoot her in the leg, my gun not making any noises due to the silencer.
"When you see those homeless people on the street do you ever answer their calls for help? Or do you just turn away, all of you are hypocrites now it's time to pay. "
Right when my team gives me the signal of all the money being with us a loud boom is heard, shaking the building.
Shit.
"Pull them to safety ,7 9 and 2"
I see the three group of angels rush in pulling the people out. Turning around I call my other groups into formation.
Walking slowly toward the back I send some to the front of the building.
More bombs are heard and then yelling. Running I see gas start to appear when we're halfway to the exit. Lifting my gun I put on my night vision not wanting to bring them to us any sooner by turning on a flashlight. Leaning against the corner of a wall I peek through the side to see 3 people about to run pass us.
Quickly pulling back I lift up my gun and signal the number to my team. "I got this hall. Split into groups, two of you stay with me" I say after shooting the people down.
Wordlessly my members do as I say hurriedly before running off.
Taking a deep breath I continue on down the hallway
After a while we come to a three way intersection. How did I not see this before?
"Split. Once you see any sign of movement tell me. That way we don't waste time"
They nod their heads in agreement before we all head off into different ways left, right, and mine , straight down the middle.
But something was wrong.
Instead of noise it was quiet.
Too quiet.
"O, can you read me?" I ask softly into the mic.
Nothing.
"Rose, do you copy?"
Nada.
I had split up with them only moments before, how could we possibly be that far away?
Unless...
Stopping in my tracks I turn my head to look at the so called wall.
Walking up to it I knock twice. Both sounding hollow.
FUCK.
Turning around I start jogging down the hallway. The walls are coming in on me , closer , and closer. Until there brushing my shoulders.
"OK GOOGLE" I yell out having already been compromised.
I hear the familiar ting and with a sound of relief I say,
"Initiate tacos for dinner" I say, now turning my body sideways.
"Initiating".
I should have known it was a trap. We got in to easily. Were leaving to easily.
How could I not see?
Someone else had been here all along.
Someone who knew me.
No one else could have ever tricked me like that.
My legs were getting squished and I had to make my arms go up to take off the helmet that was pressing against my face, scraping my arm in the process.
Light could be seen and I wanted to believe I was going to make it.
I had to believe.
Believe.
