The color in her ocean blue eyes looked as if it disappeared. I could see that even from the great distance we stood from each other. We stood outside on the street from the party that was taking place inside my house. The party that led to my biggest regret. The party that ruined everything for me because I decided getting drunk was a great idea.

She sniffled on the verge of tears, "Was this all just a game to you? I was just another character in the game that you had to test out?" She asked her voice cracking as she spoke. She wiped her nose before running her hand through her hair.

I ran a hand over my face desperate. I was desperate to keep her with me. "No. You weren't. I promise, baby," I replied, loud enough for her to hear me as the trees blew with the wind. There was then a rumble from the sky and I knew that is was going to begin raining soon.

I took a step towards her, but she backed away her eyes watering. She shook her head, stopping me. "Don't you dare come near me," her voice was venomous, which was beginning to make me feel guilty.

I self cautiously bit my lip. I didn't know what to do. With a loud crack of thunder I watched a tear successfully slip from her right eye and began to drip down her cheek. This was when the rain began to pour.

I walked towards her, not stopping this time. We had to talk about this. I couldn't lose her. I can't lose her. She's the one I need in my life and losing her would destroy me. We are meant to be together forever, not just for a year and never again.

"We need to talk about this rationally, please? Just hear me out," I was almost begging. She continued to back away from me as I made my way to her.

She shook her head once again, "I don't care about anything you have to say. You hurt me and there is no explaining to do there. I loved you and you hurt me. That is the end of it," she spoke, her voice loud over the pouring of the rain. She ran her hands over her face to get the water off her face, and sighed, "I loved you so much," I hear her say, her voice fading into the rain hitting the pavement.

I felt defeated. I had not a single clue as of what to do in this situation. I heard her scoff and watched as she ran down the street, towards her home. Tears gushed out of her eyes like a river, and I felt my heart break.

That was how my first love ended. That was how my first everything left me, and I was stupid to go after her and fix everything.

I decided it was best to just leave it alone because no matter what I did, it wouldn't change. I had lost the girl I loved dearly.
